We had great service from Brian. Hired a new hybrid complete with accessories at the best price in the area, as was the transport back from the finish at Tynemouth. Even though his shop doesn't look efficient, his service and experience, and professionalism IS. Before booking any other company email Brian first he will reply quickly. Thanks again Brian.

Chain snapped while out and about zooming around ... I was pretty close to the shop and having used the place before I just wheeled on round... Within minutes the new chain was on and gears felt smoother than ever been ... This is a proper bike yard... can't see where else you would get any kind of better service or deal. .. I would say if you're local then don't rack up and drive off... Just go here... Straight and simple

Fixed my rear wheel hub bearings soon after 7.30 a.m. so that we could stay on schedule along Hadrian's Cycle Way to Haltwhistle. Really helpful and enthusiastic owner - who deserves better than being prevented (over many years) from developing his business, by Whitehaven Council.

An hour out from Whitehaven on our late October C2C ride we had a major mechanical failure and the gentleman form Haven cycles came out in within 1/2 an hour in the pouring rain with everything needed to get us back on the road at a very reasonable price. Fantastic. We cannot thank you enough.

hired 2 hybrids (barracuda oregon) for a week to do C2C and return via hadrians way. lots of info on website and accurate pictures of the bikes and extras helped beforehand and the bikes were perfect for the job. No issues on whole journey apart from the odd sticky gear change and no punctures (mate with own bike had 3)
Help from Brian is lways available by phone if needed which we didnt. Excellent service all round and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
