We booked this hotel and restaurant for a special family birthday. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They could not have done more for a wonderful celebration. Bedrooms were|Lovely, food perfect, and we all enjoyed the bar including the outdoor seating in the square. Thank you so much for making our weekend very special.

Had a really lovely night away at this hotel for my birthday. |We only booked the last remaining room which was on the top floor and not huge but suited our needs. We had a slight water issue but all resolved to satisfaction and the owners were extremely apologetic. |The room/ en-suite was very comfortable and immaculately clean|We had a really lovely dinner in the restaurant which had a good choice on the menu and nice unusual wine list|Would not hesitate to return or recommend.

We arrived for a family celebration and were instantly made to feel welcome. Although the bar and restaurant were extremely busy we experienced a real Yorkshire welcome, nothing was too much trouble.|The evening meal was fantastic and the choice was superb, with wines to compliment the courses, and the locally sourced produce was of top quality.|Our room was on the small side, but everything you could want was there and it was clean and comfortable. A nice touch was the fresh bottle of milk as we were shown to our room.|I would not hesitate to stay again and recommend to anyone.

We had a superb 88th birthday lunch for my father on Saturday 26th October at the hotel. It was a large family lunch and needed a lot of advance planning and Susan and Kirsten were v. helpful. Excellent food prepared by Susan's husband John and great support and service from all their wider team all afternoon. We have a family history of gatherings at the hotel going back 40 plus years and it was very nice to return and we will all be back again, individually and collectively!

Outstanding working sandwich lunch at Grassy House. Service amazing, out of this world food - never an ordinary meal there. Nothing related to a member of our team being celiac was a problem. All in front of a beautifully Autumnal log burner. Perfection. Excellent

This is a beautiful hotel, restaurant and bar situated in the heart of the Dales. The bridal party and family were guests in the hotel and were really well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. We had a meal the night before the wedding with over 40 people in their lovely restaurant with an exclusive summer menu. Food and service amazing. Guests from all over the world highly complimentary. John, Sue and team are so professional, warm and attentive. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, bar, and restaurant on the square of Grassington. The rooms had a unique design, and the staff were friendly. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, but everything else was great. There was parking included on site.

The restaurant served delicious food. We were told that there was a previous review stating that the fish and chips were too small, but that is definitely not true because they were huge! Breakfast was good. The hotel also offered a unique dining experience in an outdoor pod.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on staying in Grassington.

Although we had dinner only one night in the restaurant, it was excellent, as was the daily breakfast.||Service at Grassington House is attentive and professional, striking the perfect balance between warmth and efficiency. The staff, in particular Michael, go out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience, whether in the restaurant or throughout your stay. The hotel’s location is also ideal for exploring Grassington and the stunning Dales, making it a wonderful choice for anyone looking to enjoy excellent food, great service, and the beauty of the Yorkshire countryside.||We hope to make a return visit at a future date!
