Visited during July 2019. Luckily it was drizzling and the town centre was deserted. It seemed we had the entire area to ourselves. Just fell in love with the quaint little town. A narrow stream of water flowing and old houses what else you need. By the time we finished our lunch the drizzling stopped and then we went around the town along the stream. Lovely friendly people around. Will recommend this place to everyone.

Always the first place I think of visiting when I'm in the Cotswolds,I particularly wanted to see again the motor museum as it must 20yrs since I last looked around it.The motor museum has improved massively,I remember it as just one building, now there are eight separate building's to explore.
Bourton is a great day out for all the family,a superb mix of shops, great places to eat and fantastic attractions to look around.

I was visiting Bourton twice. The first time it was in october on a rainy day. The town is really magical an well preserved. I loved the lazy stream that flows through the center, low bridges and local stone architecture. The atmosphere was nice and unique. The second time I was visiting in july. The july Bourton is hot, dirty and insanely crowded. People take od their shoes and walk into the stream. I really hated it. Every restaurant is full and impossible to reach. We went to a museum, got some ice cream and went away. Never go there in summer!
