We had a brilliant morning kayaking with Dan at Exmoor Adventures. Setting off from Porlock Harbour we paddled across the bay and then explored the flooded marshes behind the breach. Dan was knowledgeable and experienced and adapted the session perfectly to match the weather conditions and he abilities of our small group.

Absolutely incredible day on the uplift yesterday, steep natural lines , great efficient smooth uplift and two knowledgeable, genuine guys to guide you (they don’t hang around either). Superb lunch also with pasty and coffee at mid day - 1000% will return, SUPERB

Had a wonderful day e-bike hire. The hire includes a Garmin with preloaded maps. The long and medium routes are excellent fun.
Bikes were in good condition and worked well.
The shop made minor adjustments to saddle fore/aft position and brake bite point to my preferences.
Thoroughly recommended.

I can highly recommend Exmoor Adventures to anyone seeking an adventure/activity in this stunning part of the country. The base is perfectly placed for water and land sports. The e-mtbs we hired were pretty faultless and we followed a great route downloaded via their website. Dan and team are very knowledgeable of the area and kit so no worries at all and will look forward to the next visit

We went mountain biking with the E-bikes and it was fantastic! Exmoor Adventures provided all the gear including a garmin satnav with a pre-made route in it making it super easy to navigate the moors. Would highly recommend!

This is a review of two halves… to save reading, both are very positive!

We rented 3x full power FS eMTBs and formed a small group to complete the Beacon Blast with one of the Exmoor Adventures team (Jack) as guide…

Part 1 - Excellent high-end well prepared bikes, friendly advice, and amazing local knowledge that meant we got the best route for the conditions and our abilities. The scenery is spectacular and the e-bikes make longer distance blasts more accessible. Highly recommend.

Part 2 - My brother had an accident at the end of our ride - just a few hundred meters from the end of our last off-road section. These things happen, and is all part of doing the sports we enjoy… In this instance, his leg was broken and getting him off a cold and wet hillside to safety was not easy. This is where the benefit of Jack’s outdoor training and competence kicked in, as was outdoor survival equipment. A dangerous situation was professionally handled. The team from Exmoor Adventures were scrambled, and emergency teams coordinated to come to our aid. We cannot for the way they handled the issue. When you are booking these sorts of activities, this training and experience is what you are buying, even if you very rarely have to use it! Again highly recommend
