We were delighted with the service we received from Ian. We contacted him based on other positive reviews. He was so thorough and professional. He carried out our homebuyers Survey and provided the written report within a very short space of time to help us complete our purchase before Christmas. We recently used Ian to undertake a building survey on a house we are purchasing. From the first phone call he was helpful and happy to take time to explain in layman terms helping us to clarify what kind of survey we wanted. He was clear about the services he personally provides and was easy to talk to. He was understanding when a complication in the sale occurred and we had to delay the survey. The report was very thorough, well laid out and detailed including lots of images to give further clarity. Ian was also happy to give me a 'headlines' call on the day of the survey to help us keep things moving swiftly with our sale, however, the full report was received very promptly the next day so we needn't have worried. Following looking at the report Ian was happy to give further clarification and suggest where to start with looking for a trades person for a specific job. I wouldn't hesitate to use Ian again and would defiantly recommend him.

Ian carried out the full structural and drone surveys for us on an old and modified property. He is always quick in response, extremely patient and very professional. He not only presented an expertly detailed report two days after the surveys, but also thoroughly and patiently answered all our questions on the property, with lots of knowledgeable suggestions too. We feel we paid a very reasonable fee for an excellent service, will not hesitate to recommend Ian to anyone.

Ian was exceptionally helpful and capable as my Party Wall Surveyor. I do not have a background in construction or the legal side of development, so was confronted with a daunting amount of technical drawings and legal possibilities. Ian was able to clarify everything in layman's terms and provide some immensely helpful suggestions. He really went beyond the call of duty in terms of his advice and support throughout the entire process, which was not always straightforward. In short, I am incredibly grateful that his technical knowledge and attention to detail guided the process and ensured we had the best outcome for all involved.
