Ben Perks at Orchard Financial Advisers Limited was a brilliant help to me and my partner during the purchase of our first home. He broke down every aspect of the buying process & getting the mortgage sorted, as well as helping find good life insurance & introducing us to a good solicitor. James Richardson is my mortgage advisor and I can’t fault him. Every time I need a mortgage or remortgage he works as if it was his own and he does everything humanly possible to get the best mortgage available.

He has helped me with domestic and BTL mortgages with my Ltd company and me as an individual.

Had I not had James in my corner I don’t think I’d have completed on the purchases I’ve made in recent years.

His advice is spot on (I research to check) and he goes well above and beyond what you could ask of him. He’ll find you the best product. He’ll speak to business development managers to make sures he’s only putting in applications that meet specific criteria and should be accepted. He’s not one to risk any unnecessary credit searches. He’ll speak to solicitors and estate agents to find out what’s happening for you when they’re not replying. I get the impression he never stops working. I’ve had replies late in evening and weekends.

James has acted as a friend and a property therapist during the most stressful and difficult house purchase recently. He appealed a valuation, spoke to BDMs and explored all options to get a difficult mortgage approved. A chain of clowns delayed the purchase but James was able to get a 2 week extension to my offer as we hit the 6 months mark. We only exchanged and completed 2hrs before the end of those 2 weeks with my mortgage extension about to expired again and for the last time. Thank you James.

After two previous mortgage advisors recommended by Preston Baker Estate Agent failed to deliver (wasting many months in the process and not communicating), Saima stepped in and managed everything from start to finish in just eight weeks.
