I have been working with Alex for a while now and she has helped me become a much healthier and happier runner and person. Alex has helped me overcome a lot of boundaries around food and her patience and understanding has been incredible. Alex has helped me understand how important it is to have a healthy relationship with food when running but also on a daily basis. With her help my running has become so much stronger and my quality of life has become so much better. I decided to work with Alex to improve my training and race nutrition strategy as a cyclist. In conclusion this was one of the best decisions I ever made. I worked with Alex for 3 months on one of her packages.

It was incredibly useful for me as after 20 years of endurance racing I'd been getting very mixed results. Much of this it turned out was due to a rather chaotic dietary intake. Alex was great at diagnosing my challenges and then simplifying the explanations and actions for me.

As a result I feel much stronger going forward - great coach to work with 🙂

I cannot recommend Alex highly enough, working with her was truly life changing. Her personalised, completely non-judgemental approach to nutrition meant I went into my first ever marathon knowing I had the tools I needed, and now has me on the way to my first ultra. I particularly loved that she didn't only help with race fuelling, but all aspects of my diet so I can now be confident that I'm recovering in the best way possible and giving my body what it needs even when I'm not running. I found Alex on the web about 6 months ago. I was training well, approx 5 hours a week, however my recovery was poor after each session. I guessed the food I was eating was not on point. I kept a food and training plan for a week and Alex and I had our first zoom meeting. Alex listened to my training goals and reviewed how I was eating.
Alex suggested different foods, different meal times and various other ideas. I went away and implemented them all.
We reviewed on zoom twice more over 3 months. Again I went away and implemented her advice.
The outcome was insane:
More energy before a workout.
More energy throughout my working day.
Almost an immediate difference in recovery post exercise.

It is over 3 months now since Alex worked with me and I am down 5kg, my muscle mass is up and I can exercise harder than before. Best of all my recovery is quicker.
Plus I have actually learnt how to fuel for exercise performance.
As my exercise goes up again, I will use Alex to help me fine tune the nutrition to keep on performing better.
Now I see the food as nutrition and that variety is possible if I plan rather than just making it up as I was doing.
