I've visited this place on multiple occasions for drinks and nibbles, thanks to my partner's family. The events you organise are fantastic, always creating lovely memories and ensuring a great time. The view is absolutely stunning.

I'm giving 4.5⭐ stars instead of 5 because I feel the interior could use some modern updates.

A great place. Excellent rooms/lounges/bars/restaurants and amble space to sit and enjoy the environment. There are plenty of well-known drinks at the bar, and excellent food choice and service. Amenities and all facilities are there for everyone's convenience

Stayed at Phyllis Court after a graduation day at nearby Henley business school. We had a deluxe room, which was huge, more of a suite really. Very comfortable, one or two cracks in the ceiling and a few knocks on doors etc, probably could do with a refresh but great all the same. Staff were friendly and efficient, breakfast was fresh and tasty. Outstanding value for money at the bar, very reasonable for Henley. Excellent parking, walking access to the town and a beautiful river frontage for drinks in the evening.

We went for Christmas Day lunch and the food was appalling. The potatoes were at least a day old and only reheated to lukewarm, the veg was virtually non existent and all was very bland. Pic attached as it was served! The best bit of the day was the man playing the piano throughout .

The staff, food and Leisure club were excellent. The room was compacted and would not suit everyone but make sure you pick the room which suits your needs and budget. The room was clean with excellent facilities with a small TV. The breakfast, staff and the location were all perfect.

Absolutely fantastic location. The bed was comfy, but the room was a bit shabby, ceiling light missing and ceiling needed painting, bath panel hanging off, and the toilet seat was loose. | We also found the bar staff to be very vacant.| I was just surprised about all of the above as it is a beautiful hotel and comes across as very upmarket.

The place is fantastic I must admit, the first time I was invited the service was impeccable but the second time was a disaster!!! Wow I was disappointed.
The very young staff are not trained enough at the bar and didn't know how to take an order properly, even after repeating myself several times my order came wrong 😞 that's why I gave 3 stars.
Otherwise I love this place and will go back there always. The history, the location and occasionally well trained staff 😅😁

Absolutely fantastic location, very friendly staff - and extremely helpful - as well as beautiful surroundings just a few steps from the town center. A safe in the room would have been helpful, as would have been a small fridge for medical supplies. But again, one of the best hotels that I have stayed in, in England.
