The TAB format has really worked for me with a mixture of 1-1 coaching and a group of business leaders providing valuable feedback.

Jonathan understands my style and what I'm looking to achieve from 1-1 coaching. He's able to challenge me but in a constructive manner and something I'm still comfortable with.

The group board meetings are a safe space to ask for advice and share ideas from a variety of different business perspectives and different personalities. Every topic in each meeting is thought provoking. Just understanding that you're facing the same issues that everyone else is facing, or has faced, can be a comfort in itself. These meetings force me to take a step back each month and look at the bigger picture - something that's easy to forget to do.

The ultimate question for anyone is 'Does it deliver value?' and the answer for me is a solid yes.

TAB is an excellent forum for getting input from other like minded business owners and managers to help with planning and growth. It has been a safe place to discuss how different businesses handle situations and support which is available. Sometimes you have to look outwards and get honest advice. The people running the Aberdeen TAB boatds are very experienced, professional and organised and clearly do their research, which gives us full confidence in the support they give our business.

I've been a member of a TAB board for nearly 2 years now and I'd highly recommend it to any business owner, regardless of the size or maturity of their business.

Having that safe space each month to bounce ideas around and get sound, experienced advice is very valuable and forces you to ensure you're focussing on what's important for you and your business right now. But it's more than just the group that brings value for me. The monthly one-to-ones with Jonathan are grounding and re-calibrate my priorities, filtering out the day-to-day noise that has a tendancy to hold businesses back.
