When the opportunity arose for me to be able to purchase the property I have been renting for the last ten years, I selected Strefford Tulips from an internet comparison selection of solicitors.
They have provided an excellent service throughout - from initial quote, response and advice, to conducting the transaction on my behalf. Their service has been friendly, helpful, efficient, competent and professional in every respect - all at a very competitive and agreeable price.
Although this was a very straightforward private cash purchase, it was particularly impressive that the whole transaction only took six weeks from instructing Strefford Tulips to submit my offer to securing ownership of the property - especially since this was over the Christmas/New Year fortnight!
I would certainly consider using Strefford Tulips services again, and do not hesitate to recommend them.

As others have said, communication is poor. Nothing is explained to you so you have no idea what's going on and when. They didn't even notice the name of the house was different on the deeds to all the paperwork.
Our mortgage advisor were really shocked at their service, we were having to phone them to get details which Stefford Tulips should have been organizing themselves (i.e conveyancing like we were paying them to do).
We had a few issues with the house after sale and they were absolutely no help, didn't provide any legal advice or get in touch with the seller. We had to use a different firm to get things resolved, who again were shocked at Strefford Tulips lack of service and due diligence.
I think it must be luck of the draw but I certainly won't risk using them again.

We moved our house in December and they were brilliant with their help and professionalism. Our case has been handled by Lynn Pacitti and her team and they were great. Recently purchased my first home and the service from Strefford Tulips has been excellent. Lisa Finnigan was dealing with my file and she was amazing at keeping in touch and explaining each step clearly. Unfortunately my purchase had a delay (outwith the control of solicitors or myself) but Lisa was really patient and done all she could to get things moving quickly as possible. It was not a straight forward or easy purchase, but I’m so happy I had the support of Lisa to help me understand each step. Thanks again.
