Worst service.
Never come on time! Often cancelled! No tracking available to check the bus via app. Bus never displays the next stop nor announce the next stop. In winter all windows are covered with mist, so cannot check where about, no heating! Weekly or monthly passes are a joke. They are more expensive for 5 day traveller.
Had issues with tap on-off, and they doubled charged me for a single journey when I bought a ticket receipt. No refund given as they claimed some people buy a ticket and do tap on as second person. They are not fair.
Drivers do not stop at halts even when passengers signal. Happened multiple times and complained, nothing happened. Their response was ‘we will inform drivers, yet no improvement.
When they suspend a stop or divert the route, never provide an update on the app.

I was at the bus stop since 8:50 am at route 1 from Cribbs causeway to Broomhill, yesterday and this bus came to the stop at 9:12 am. After signalling, driver didn’t stop hand signalled forward. Thought he didn’t stop because the traffic behind. Yet he never stopped and kept going. So I missed the bus!
Bus stop notice shows it is closed from 9:30 am, but this happened at 9:10 am.
Poor service from Firstbus in Bristol as always!

One star is too much for this company. NEVER on time. I’ve had to book Ubers so many times cause the buses didn’t show up or literally drove past me. Worst public transport I’ve ever experienced. It makes me wanna move out of Bristol.

Only one bus from the Crown Longwell green. Used to be several to Bristol, Bath, hanham, warmley etc. Now there are none. Only a number 17 to Southmead Hospital. Not a place most people would choose to go on a regular basis. When i waited for the number 17 it said due in 6 mins but never arrived and just dissapeared off the screen. Hopeless. Waited yesterday at 2pm at Abbots Leigh for bus to Bristol bus station. Bus timetable said every 20 mins. Bus finally arrived after 1 hour just before 3pm. Shockingly poor service.

Number3 17.35 don't show so had to get a taxi. When are buses going to be reliable? However the returning journey was better.

Jeez. Twice your drivers have driven straight past me out in the countryside in freezing conditions. Get your act together. I even used my torch to draw extra attention to myself. It was like the bus stop didn't even exist for them. Didn't even slow down to check if there was a passenger waiting. (Today it was the A1 flyer from War memorial to bristol on 23/10/24 19.05).

Also, while we're at it - when you're on the bus there's no way of knowing where you are on the route. Maybe an audible announcement or some text on a screen like other buses? Otherwise you have to have a charged phone and follow where you are on the map.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Tried to call the number for lost property no one ever answers. Tried the main number & the automated voice says it will transfer you to reception the it cuts off!!! How can I speak to an actual person?

Garbage service. Thought I was just being unlucky the EMPTY bus not stopping writing this review whilst sitting next to a gentlemen watching his empty bus go past our stop. I was going to add that sitting at this stop with him my bus also left early so it didn’t turn up according to the time table. I saw it drive past me about a 30 second walk down the road.
I can’t believe a company can operate if it doesn’t pick up all the people that want to use the service. It’s stupid that First has a monopoly over prime routes in Bristol.

A1 AirPort First bus and 76 First bus problem. (First 2 ticket)

Yesterday, the bus driver at the airport (A1) tore up my return bus ticket. so the 76 bus conductor did not let me get on the bus at the Bristol bus stop because my ticket had already been processed. After that, I went back to the bus stop and reported this problem to the A1 bus driver. He didn't understand the problem. After that, I had to wait 55 minutes for the customer service to open at the bus station. I told my problem there. They wanted to give me a single ticket. I didn't accept it. I would rather walk home. I explained the reason for my complaint: 1. Bus driver A1 intentionally destroyed my bus ticket (he should have known that I could not transfer to another bus this way). 2. Bus 76 was full of passengers. I felt humiliated when the bus driver didn't let me get on the bus and wanted me to buy a new ticket. Fortunately, I will be moving from Beistol at the end of July.
