The 5% Club is a small skills campaigning charity so it's really important to us that we get good value for money from all our suppliers - we moved to Wilson Howe after a less than good experience of an accountant and the whole way we manage our money and accounts has been transformed.

Matthew and the team are great - really supportive and helpful, always pulling out all the stops to support us in producing financial information for our trustees and ensuring all our accounts are filed and processed in a timely manner. They also manage our Payroll, VAT returns and with any other HMRC issues.

We had problems with our previous accountants when they merged with a much larger firm. Suddenly getting hold of the right people and getting useful answers became more difficult, and expensive. As we are a tiny company, just my partner and I, we realised we were small fish to them, and it was time to find a new firm. Wilson Howe seem to be a really good fit for us, big enough to supply the services we need, but small enough to be personable. We have been very happy with their work, and particularly like that they don't just talk in 'accountant speak', but are clear about different options that mean we can make meaningful decisions that suit our company.
