I needed a 14/15 seater ‘Ford transit’ style minibus (like I usually rent in the US and Canada) but a proper passenger van (‘minibus in UK terms’) is not easy to find in UK. Having looked up the options online and heard bad things about brokers who don’t actually own the vehicles they are renting I did my research and went with Low Cost Minibus Hire UK. They own their own vehicles, you deal directly with the staff/owner and the communications are prompt and clear. Pricing was straight forward and they were also able to easily arrange so that the rental could be driven to Europe (we went to France in it, no issues). They delivered the minibus to the agreed address and picked it up at the end of the rental period, it really couldn’t have been any easier.

We had an excellent experience with Low Cost Minibus Hire when we rented a 9 seater minibus for a 5 week period. Brian and his team could not have been better or more responsive. Emails were dealt with very promptly and they were extremely accommodating when we had to change the booking at the last minute. The driver arrived exactly on time at Heathrow Terminal 5 for both drop off and collection, the van was in excellent condition and we couldn't recommend this service highly enough. They will be our first port of call when we need another hire.

We hired a 12 seat bus for a weekend trip to Scotland August 21.
Their quote was much better than any other of the big hire companies.
They dropped off right to my door bang on time. The bus was clean and tidy, only a couple of years old and great to drive with air con and decent fuel economy (average 30mpg from a big bus).
We had a great weekend away and these guys came to collect the bus right on time on our return. No hassle at all.
Would definitely hire from this company again in future.

First time using Low Cost MInibus Hire, wont be the last. 17 seater Transit for a trip to Disneyland Paris for the family, they dropped of the bus two days early and collected it 7 days later so no worries about change over, vehicle was very clean inside upon receipt and air certificate was emailed upon request for travelling through Paris. All passengers had a nice drive all be it so long but at least the seats reclined so could get some kip. three child car seats fitted perfectly in the seats so no worries there.
Didn't believe it at first that i was hiring a bus from Scotland and they would deliver to Lowestoft, Suffolk, about as far as anyone would want to go on a trip in itself but no problems in drop off, collecting or driving the 1000 mile journey there and back.
Nice company who work around you, sometimes with moments to spare to catch a train back home. am now in process of booking another family trip so will keep you're details for future use.

First time I've hired a mini bus and.looked online some of the companies prices were exorbitant and some very cheap. The cheap ones turned out to be companies who don't actually own the minibus and just hire them third party. Be careful with this. Low cost were excellent from the start. Price was reasonable and I had no problem with them. Would definitely use them again
