Extension and Internal Reworking

MAB helped us replace our old extension and flip internal rooms creating a new bathroom.
We found Marc to be professional, warm and genuine from the get go. He project managed the whole build, coordinating with all the sub contractors that were needed. Everyone turned up when they said would (save a couple of days here and there over the 5 month period) and everyone who Marc hired was also very professional. Our neighbours had no complaints during the whole process, largely due to MAB being very respectful of the potential impact of the construction.
There were a few hitches during the process but MAB overcame these. Kevin, Alfie and Rory were the mainstays of our build and apart from doing a bang up job, we're almost like part of the family for that period! Lol
Based on our experience I can honestly recommend MAB for any building project.

Marc Allan Builders Ltd recently completed a loft conversion for us (including a dormer bedroom and shower room) and we are delighted with the results.

This was a tricky project with very limited space and access to work with, but Marc and the team carried out the work perfectly and sensitively, with little disruption.

We had our loft converted by Marc and his team they done an absolutely fantastic job and having the extra space now has made a massive difference to our life as our 2 boys no longer have to share a room and they have their own space. Marc was very helpful and friendly right from the beginning and during the work been carried out the guys where all very pleasant and brilliant at their jobs nothing was every a hassle there was very minium mess and was a job very well done I was surprised how quickly from start to finished it was complete in 2 weeks I would certainly recommend Marc Allan builders to anyone looking to have any home improvements nearly 2 years on My loft which is now a bedroom still looks fantastic thanks again to everyone involved in giving us the extra living space 😀

We had used Marc for home improvements previously, so when we started to plan an extension to our house we asked MAB to quote.
Out of the four builders we asked to quote, MAB was quick to reply, gave a very detailed quote, and gave a clear timeframe for when they were available to do the work. All the quotes were similar price wise, but we had confidence with the information given that we would be best choosing MAB.
Communication with Marc and Jamie was good. Any queries were dealt with promptly. All of the guys who worked on the project were helpful and hardworking. When issues arose, as is inevitable with a project such as this, they were overcome satisfactorily. Any additional costs that occurred were communicated clearly, but to be honest the costs were accurately represented in the initial quote.
We love the new space that has been built and would recommend MAB to carry out similar projects.

Working with Marc and his team on a major house renovation was a very positive experience for us.

From the initial consultation it was clear to us that Marc Allan Builders were going to be a company we could work with. They took time to understand the architects vision, came up with valuable suggestions about how we could make it work and helped us get the most out of our budget.

Marc was always available to answer questions and concerns and kept us informed of progress on the job.

One of the most impressive parts of this project was seeing the care and professionalism that the various craftspeople took in creating our new space. In particular the plumbers, James and Eddie and electricians Graham and Jamie were really creative in bringing new ideas to an old house. Scott, the decorator was very patient and professional and his work is of the highest standard.

It’s been really nice to see how proud Marc and his team are of what they have achieved in our home. needless to say, we are thrilled with the result.
