I completed the Women’s Development Programme with Barefoot Coaching towards the end of 2024.

It’s been an incredibly rewarding and insightful experience. Our course leader Julia was amazing, helping to create a safe and open environment for all those taking part.

I wanted to do this programme with Barefoot to work particularly on managing feelings of imposter syndrome, and to also to build my confidence in both a professional and personal context.

This course has provided me with the coaching tools and techniques required to overcome these boundaries and I’m excited to continue to implement these skills moving forward.

I completed the postgrad business and personal coaching course in summer 2016. I had been recommended and followed up by attending an open morning. Joining the Barefoot community is one of the best decisions I have ever made. The course is excellent with expert content and a great variety of tutors. The team at Barefoot continue to support you after the course and I have since taken the Team Coaching course and attend their ongoing supervision sessions. The people on the course come from a wide variety of backgrounds and they become a great support network. I highly recommend Barefoot to anyone thinking of a career in coaching.

I trained with Barefoot Coaching in Personal and Business Coaching in 2014, and cannot recommend the experience highly enough. I did a lot of research into training providers, and after receiving a recommendation looked into Barefoot. They were the only provider who felt right for me, a winning combination of established and yet not of the establishment. It was a significant financial investment for me at the time, but most definitely worth every penny. The training is a great blend of theory and practice, high quality teaching and my fellow delegates came from all walks of life. I undertook the postgrad business and personal coaching course and achieved Post Grad Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching with Chester University in November 2011. I had researched various options prior to making the investment and enrolling, and attended a 'typical day' of the course to get a feel for whether it was right for my learning style. What a good decision! I found the course was excellent with a great mix of content and a variety of learning methods provided by a range of tutors headed up by Kim. Barefoot continued to provide encouragement and support to complete the necessary work involved to achieve the qualification. I wholeheartedly recomment Barefoot to other prospective coaches with confidence.
