Cornish Kelpie (Sarah Walsh) Sarah has been an inspiration to me and so many others. Sarah's enthusiasm, for cold water swimming is infectious, sharing her knowledge & experience has given me the confidence at this stage in my life (age 74) to join the Cornish adventures that are on offer. These have been absolutely amazing & life changing. Not to mention the special friendships made, new locations found.

I love swimming with the Cornish Kelpie. Always such a supportive group of people. Sarah is an amazing coach. I was petrified the first few times in the sea. I now can go out of my depth and can completely relax thanks to Sarah’s coaching. We always go where it is safe and have been to some wonderful places I had never been too before. I really recommend swimming with the Cornish Kelpies no matter whatever your level. Sarah and all the group will support you. It has made such a difference to my mental health and I can’t wait to get back in the sea

Cornish Kelpie Open Water Swim sessions are the so much more than just swimming in the sea. Every session is an opportunity to learn something new - about the tide, about the location, my own technique. I know that each session is expertly planned so that conditions are right, I’m safe and able to make the very most of each opportunity. I couldn’t recommend Kelpie more!

I have been swimming with Cornish Kelpie Open Water Swim Coaching for 2 years. During this time I have been introduced to the joys and benefits of cold water swimming. I have been on Kelpie guided swimming trips to many of Cornwall’s beautiful beaches, coves and sea pools and I am currently learning how to improve my swimming technique with indoor pool lessons.
All this is under the expert guide of Sarah Walsh, the Cornish Kelpie. Sarah’s joy of swimming and in depth knowledge of the places where we swim, as well as her skills as an amazing qualified swim coach, make this a fantastic experience.

Absolutely fabulous morning swimming at Carbis Bay. Safety talk before entering the water, making sure we all had the correct safety equipment. Any questions or worries were answered. Lots of laughs & fun were had. Highly recommend.

Have been swimming with Sarah for 2 years and in that time have gained so much confidence and seen and swam in some of the most amazing places in Cornwall. Sarah’s enthusiasm for Cold Water Swimming is contagious, her knowledge and respect for the sea ensures we enjoy great swims safely. Life changing adventure with the Cornish Kelpie. Absolutely adore the personalised and caring professional environment created in such beautiful places and incredible waters. Sea, lakes and natural pools are simply magical. Made to always feel welcome. Learn many new swimming and life saving skills.
