Very horrible school, their food is disgusting, I went there and there was no support or anything. The teachers were rude and were only respectful when another teacher came in. The head assistant was meant to speak to me and ignored me. The worst part it that it was a serious matter on assault that happened and the school did absolutely nothing about it. They lock the toilets so if girls are on, they don't unlock them until lunch time. Their curriculum is pathetic and I barely learnt anything. Students are rude and they only focus on students who don't need support as much. Horrible school, don't recommend unless you want your kid to come out horrible and have no knowledge.

I sent my daughter here late last year after a bad experience with another school in the county and the education system is amazing and the suppler she gets is absolutely fantastic! They’ve helped her tons! I definitely recommend this school!

I get supported pretty damn well and teachers are very understanding. Food could be better and like 4 teachers need to get gone but other than that it’s pretty good

Uniform is reasonable price. Just a tie and pe top to buy with logo on. The rest can be purchased cheaply. Teachers are interested in the students and get to know them well. Lessons are varied and interesting with opportunities for group and practical work fairly regularly, not just staring at a ppt and doing worksheets. There are two canteens, one for upper and one for lower schools so not too overwhelming for younger students. Food is good quality and breakfast is available daily. Students are treated with respect. All of my daughter's teachers are specialists in the subjects they teach at GCSE, as far as I am aware. Superb school. It has been a game changer for us.

Okay, I went here a few years ago now; but I mean it when I say it was probably the worst years of my life. Have they had a complete rebranding over the fiasco that was the head master RANDOMLY just vanishing without a word? Yeah! But I don't know how much has truly changed. The uniforms were bank breakers - the need for a different tie on your LAST YEAR or you get detention every day until you spent the £40 to get one? Wild. Classism from certain teachers, Art being extremely underfunded and almost removed from the selection of options when you had hit year 9... Even with options, I had to BEG to be allowed into history because they didn't even let me chose it myself even though I was doing well in it, turns out certain sets could only make certain choices with whole curriculums just wiped out. (I was set 3, not the brightest spark but I was a middle ground! Even though I still had limitations.) Which I understand is to make the grounds even.. but even then the topics were STILL put into sets so it made no difference.

Anyways this is my free therapy I guess - maybe it's better now, maybe it's not. But I remember running into my favourite teacher a few months after I left and her telling me she was let off because of pay, though she was one of the only ones (out of two) who actively went out their way to understand students.
