I rented a house through this branch and after two years l let the Landlord know I no longer want to renew my aggrement. They arranged a viewing and despite my sister being ill in the hospital in another city, I traveled to be there (from Leeds to Birmingham) to let them have a viewing. My sister died and when these agents emailed me for another viewing, I told birchell Edwards Castle Bromwich branch that I'm not in Birmingham due to my sister dying and anyway in two weeks time I will hand over the keys back. Without my knowledge and permission they arranged a viewing and when I came back to the house my both back doors (garden and garage) were open and few of my jewelry pieces were missing. I emailed them several times and received no reply. I phoned and always got someone from the sales department pick up the phone to let me know that letting persons (Lilly) is busy and will call back. But I never received any call back.

Update : The Burchell Edwards Castle Bromich Branch are not replying to my emails about the deposit I had paid. I have send them several emails but no reply from them. When I enter the details on The tenancy scheme with the tenancy start date, the message comes that enter the correct details. I remember that the agent had started the tenancy on the 29th August but when i received the tenancy aggrement the tenancy start date was 31/08/22. I should have asked them about it straight away because due to the stress of shifting i completely forgot to ask them. Now when i enter 29th of August green tick mark appears but the message which appears says no depost found in out data base. I have asked the agent to give me the deposit code or certificate number and still no reply from them. I will update what hapoens next

Usually after 3 or 4 call before some trainee will pick up the call who know nothing about your queries and promised a void call back which will not happen at all.
As a seller if you choose them, you are guaranteed to miss most valid buyer as they won’t even arrange viewings for potential buyer. They will also use a smart tactics to significantly undervalue your property before sell it to a “ higher than market bidder”.
