I need to start with another thank you to Jim. Never used an account before but due to issues with working Self-employed through amazon from over 2 years ago and the tax man asking for so much info and receiving penalty points I needed help to sort as I was getting nowhere with gov.uk. Then after several months of stress I was advised to contact Jim as he is local, friendly and his business to help. So glad i did... it took Jim less than a week so sort a 2 year issue and I'm even due a refund... after fearing I'd owe more than I should. Friendly, attentive, professional and quick service... highly recommended.

Jim, every year demonstrates a calm, quiet confidence that he knows what he's doing and backs it up with the competence and speed to just get it done. After a stressful few weeks trying to recover a large amount of incorrectly paid Stamp Duty from HMRC, due to incompetence by my conveyancer, I contacted Jim to seek help. He immediately arranged an appointment and dropped in a couple of days later, spent 45 minutes using his expertise and solved the problem for me. Just hoping that HMRC are as quick at returning the large overpayment now that it's all been submitted. Thoroughly recommend Jim.

A totally unique and very personal experience with a very warm and understanding accountant. Not only did I get through immediately, I actually got a home visit within 2 days - which for me was a breakthrough as I needed work done in a hurry. Jim knows his stuff, he knows what he needs and is very quick with his information. He made this experience exactly what I was looking for, I had phoned 2 or 3 accountants before him, and I was so unimpressed with how impersonal they were, I actually hung up and didnt bother to wait to be put through. I like a high quality person experience not a call centre experience. So if you want to feel like a respected client, and you want someone who can work to your pace and wishes, then Jim is your man.
