Great bike shop. They have their own brand of very nice carbon aero, climbing and gravel bikes, bike fit, training programmes and facilities to do vo2max and similar tests. They run a development cycling team. A bit of a hidden gem tbh. And good coffee 👌

Ordered some tyres on the 11th of the month. Still not heard anything by the 22nd. 23rd I get an email (and not a particularly apologetic one) saying they’re out of stock and I will get a refund. They could’ve told me this when I placed the order. Had I not have chased, I might still be waiting for them.

I have known of trainSharp since September 2019, when they invited my son Louie for a fitness assessment. After an hour of being tested he was subsequently offered a place in the new Junior Development Team that the owner Jon Sharples was setting up. trainSharp Coach Alex has been coaching Louie since November and the difference in Lou as a rider, his performance, his mindset and his focus since he has been engaged in a structured training program is phenomenal, and very evident. Louie is developing as a racing cyclist who wants to realise his dream and race his bike professionally. I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that given time and his hard work and determination trainSharp will help him achieve this. The whole process, session setting, analysis and feedback is second to none.

My own personal experience aside from how I see the work they are putting in to Lou is merely social. All staff are friendly and personable, they have time for their customers, but even more so, are 100% passionate about what they do! Their experience in the world of cycle coaching and developing cyclists is evident from the minute you step in their base just outside Lewes. For anyone wanting to develop as a racing cyclist, trainSharp are all over it and will help you, I can thoroughly not recommend them enough. World Class!

Had a Bike Fit with Dan to set up a new bike for me. Really smooth process from booking it to receiving the report and recommendations afterwards. Took time to understand what I needed and made the necessary adjustments to the bike with some recommendations for some further parts I need to purchase. Will be back to get them fitted. Really worthwhile process.

When I got to the shop Michael introduced himself and was very approachable and accommodating. Throughout the fit he was extremely detailed in explaining the whys, pros and cons behind each change which made making decisions extremely easy.

I was looking for a gravel bike to use for winter riding and all year round touring. I wanted it to be appropriate for purpose and to fit me properly, being female and 5' 4". I chose to purchase through Trainsharp as they are local and were recommended, and I also opted to have a proper bike fit with them.

In the first instance, Jon was very careful to compare my riding position to the geometry of the frame that I'd chosen before it was ordered as my height fell between sizes.

Once the bike was built, I had the actual bike fit. Dan was brilliant, and very patient! Every tweek and change that he made to the bike and my cleats made a noticeable difference to my level of comfort. I found the whole process really fascinating and actually very enjoyable. I've ended up with a gorgeous bike that fits me beautifully and I now don't want to get it muddy!!
