Incredibly family friendly. We booked a family room and it was decorated with fox blankets, pillows and fox stuffies for my kids. They had kid sized slippers and fluffy robes for them. There's a complimentary candy bar downstairs and they even had slushies today!
The pool is so necessary after a long day of sight seeing. They provide gigantic plush towels at the pool and luxurious private rainfall showers in the locker room (it's been 2 nights and we haven't even showered in our room yet). The fitness center is great and they even offer fruit and bars there.
The breakfast buffet is phenomenal. The waffles are perfect, I love the made to order omelettes and poached eggs. They even had congee! There's fresh made orange, grapefruit and apple juice. Soy milk, oat milk, and coconut milk in cute little glass bottles. Such a great way to start off the day.
Ileana at reservations was amazing working with me to cancel/rebook my reservations. And all the front desk we have interacted with have been so pleasant and helpful. I've needed stuff printed and it was a breeze with their help.
The concierge and porters are great. They gave my kids a fox (the mascot of the hotel) scavenger. There are white fox statues all over and they have to find them!
The lounge is key. After a long day of sight seeing it is invaluable to just be able to go to the lounge and freshen up with drinks and food. No need to wait to order room service or buy sandwiches (although there is an Amazon fresh store just across the street). The food, staff and service are amazing. Yesterday was lamb curry and it was sooooo good. I still regret not eating more. Today was pasta and Bolognese. My kids inhaled it. There's always a vegetarian options and small sandwiches available. There's also a well stocked cold buffet.
The only downside is they're doing work to expand the hotel (we haven't heard any noise) and our window is frosted to give us privacy. Doesn't really affect us as we're too exhausted every day to do much else. We are loving our stay here!
