My son had the pleasure of being tutored by Megan and MQ. Both tutors were incredibly kind and patient and always went above and beyond to support my son in my studies. They helped him prepare for exams and homework, but also made sure he understood all the concepts.

The tutors are easy going but well prepared and kept my son on task. Tyrell is responsive to questions, and flexible and understanding when it comes to scheduling and matching the right tutor with your child.

I honestly don’t have enough words to thank Tyrell for everything he has done for my son over the past two years. Before we found Tyrell, my son was really struggling with maths at school. Having a different teacher every year left him feeling lost, confused, and convinced that he just wasn’t good enough. By Year 10, he had almost given up, thinking that maths just wasn’t for him.

Then we found Tyrell and everything changed. There’s something special about the way Tyrell connects with his students. He didn’t just teach my son how to work through maths questions or pass an exam, he helped him believe in himself again. Tyrell made my son feel that he could do it, that he was capable, and that he wasn’t a failure, just someone who hadn’t been taught in the right way before.

For the first time, my son was actually looking forward to his lessons. Week after week, I saw his confidence grow, not just in maths, but in himself too. As a mum, that is the greatest gift anyone could have given us.

I am truly, truly grateful to Tyrell for his patience, kindness, and incredible teaching. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to any parent whose child is struggling, not just for the maths help, but for the confidence and belief he helps build along the way.

Would 100% recommend Matter of Maths Tuition. My son is in year 11 and had 1-2-1 tution online with Miles. He went from a grade 2 in his first mock GCSE to a grade 4 in his second mock exam. My son said that he wished he had actually started with Matter of Maths at the start of the GCSE syllabus in year 10, as he found that it helped much.

I had weekly maths lessons with kamiyla constantly throughout the academic year. Both her and Tyrell were extremely accommodating when it came to availability and last minute changes. Kamiyla was great at explaining things and making sure I understood the topics we were covering. I felt incredibly comfortable when asking questions or letting kamiyla know I wasn’t quite following. Any topics I was particularly interested in learning, kamiyla was more than happy to focus on what I felt would be helpful. I also found it helpful that payment plans could be split up and weekly reminders of upcoming lessons were given. I could not recommend matter of maths tutors enough. I look forward to starting lessons again next academic year.

Tyrell is such an amazing maths tutor. My son lacked confidence with maths in his mid year 11 but Tyrell helped him improve so much. He was a blessing that helped my son get a grade 9 at GCSE. His structured lessons, homework and communication/feedback was great. Definitely recommend!
