Staff were polite, prompt, courteous and professional.

I was duly informed of every milestone and my queries and concerns were thoroughly addressed.

My mortgage advisor (Brian) was brilliant. He made sure I was kept in the loop at every stage and I was well aware of what to expect.

I had various competitive options to choose from and was provided with timely and useful professional advice.

My case manager was very good and it was great that I had no surprises.

Amazing team, very supportive.

All details clear and concise.

I would totally recommend their services and it was a great plus that I did not even have to pay for the amazing service I received.

I have used them previously and found them to be very reliable. However on this occasion an application for further advance and a product transfer seems to taking over 1 week. The lender I am with is BM solutions who have a very simple process however they only work with brokers. Sent all the paperwork requested the advisor assigned to me Ellis Sharp seems to avoid doing the application and keeps saying will send the paperwork end of the day for you to confirm but nothing transpires. I have raised this with his manager but I feel recently the staff they have seem to be less caring.
I will be looking at other brokers who are willing to help and are also fee free.
Avoid unless you want your time wasted.

L&C were fantastic from start to finish. As first time buyers we were unfamiliar with the process of applying for a mortgage but our advisor (Emily) was very patient and explained everything very clearly. She got us a great deal and we are really grateful! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend L&C to others.

Great step by step help with mortgage selection. Smooth process overall with mortgage advisors, in places it can get disconnected but it is easy to reconnect. 4 stars

Downside is the insurance team. Extreme pressure and persuasion to get the insurance. Lengthy calls instead of providing an online service where the customer takes the necessary time to select the options and make decisions. It felt worse than someone trying to make you change religion. 1 star

Found they were good on the mortgage advice front - felt we got a decent mortgage. However, emails were a little unclear (seemed rushed and made little sense at times) and they would ring at inconvenient times. A lot of time spent on the phone that could've easily been covered in an email exchange.

Would definitely stay clear if looking for life insurance advice. We were given the run around there, with proposals put in front of us, only to not be approved.

I found the initial process quite frustrating. I filled out forms but no contact. I eventually rang the contact number on the website but he didn't follow-up the enquiry with me. I had no idea what was going on so I contacted another provider, who was very good but didn't give me a good deal. Eventually, after a week or two, Jesse, from L&C rang me and what a relief. He was great. He explained the process and kept in touch. I'm an old guy now and whenever I applied for a mortgage it was always resolved quickly with a face-to-face meeting in the bank !

The broker Huw has been very good and phoned when he said he would. We were also happy with his mortgage product search and advice. However since then service has been poor. The case manager sent her phone number. She is never at her desk when I have needed to phone. Five times so far. She doesn’t return calls even tho I have left messages . The chatter service is also not good. Can take a long time to get a reply from a random person and it is then too late an answer for the problem. The only reason I have given 3 stars is because of Huw. I would give the case manager 1 star or zero if it were an option and I would give Huw 5 stars.

L & C team are simply the best. My adviser Reece is such a wonderful guy, he is there at every step of the journey guiding and checking rates every now and then. I’m happy to refer them to my friends and family.
