Seriously one of the most toxic worst incubator space in the region. I recently moved back to Hull from London and wanted a space to setup my tech startup.

I was recommended this place as the go to for small startups. After just a few weeks as a member I realised that this place is nothing but a scam. They pretend to give support to startups BUT you get nothing. They use funding options they get to attract businesses but it’s sham.

I have heard the discontent in a lot of the members here. They feel short changed.

The main directors are old out of touch men who don’t give two monkeys about the startup community. Very toxic atmosphere. The whole setup is weird.

They have Barclays Eaglelabs but the support is pants. I tried to ask for a lot of support from them which was shocking.

If they have any common sense they would get rid of the old guard and put some actual descent people who can move it forward with the times.

The place is like a ghost city now. I am happily working out of Starbucks and home now. Won’t waste £200 a month here.

The receptionists pretend to be friendly but will talk bad behind your back. What a waste of space of amazing buildings. The local authorities need to get involved to see where their investment went into. I certainly won’t be going back soon. I would rather go back to London. ?

Not just a great place to work from, but a hub of digital activity, and like minded people. The place to be for online tech in Hull. Oh - don't forget the free coffee! (that alone covers the cost!) Jon Moss is great - can't do enough to help.

If you can make them money then your in the right place, They say the right things and look the part, but help is only available if you pay for it. If your not of immediate benefit they will remove you so dont make plans around them. The community manager likes gossip and if any of the above apply to you then you will find yourself on the way out. Dont think of communicating to find out why,you will be ignored you have to understand they make money from you and when people were struggling through Covid this company was making sure it was maximizing its profits and making things harder if you are starting out there are many better options. Its when you need help and support most that you see the true colours of a company like this.
