There are times during our life when we can benefit from some sound impartial financial advice. As I have reached a milestone birthday, I contacted Tom Williams to ask him if he could help me explore my pension and retirement options, including the current status of my equity release in my home. I find these things complicated and don’t necessarily understand the red tape and what the best options are for me personally.

As I currently run a business, Tom was kind enough to suggest a number of dates and times to fit around me, so we could sit down to discuss my options in detail. Tom’s approach is not only professional, but he was also extremely patient and really described things to me, so I could better understand and make sense of how to move forward. After the initial meeting, he took away some of my paperwork so he was able to compare other offers, particularly for my equity release.
His advice about my pension was extremely sensible and after exploring other equity release options he presented them to me. However, in the end his recommendation was to stay with my current provider, so there was no business for Tom but he still didn’t charge me for the advice.

It meant a lot to me, as now I am confident I am moving forward in the right way, and I would thoroughly recommend Tom to both friends and other business owners. So if you need a financial, retirement or investment advice, then you need to look no further.
