I cannot recommend James highly enough, after completing his DISC questionnaire, which was surprisingly accurate, I met with him to discuss various issues I was facing, and possible reasons why, which was truly enlightening, and provided the foundation from which to work from.
James has a warm and friendly nature and listens intently, encourages, questions, and helps you see things from a different perspective. His experience speaks volumes, as his carefully considered thoughts are testament to.

I highly recommend James Gentle from Action Coach. I first met James when he facilitated a DISC workshop for our Fundraising Team. This gave us real insight into our personality types and behaviours, and those of our colleagues.
Working with James has had a real impact on our Team. The exercise has given us a greater understanding of each other and as such, we have adapted and improved the way we communicate and built stronger and more effective working relationships.
Following the workshop, James has since provided coaching sessions for myself and fellow managers, helping identify the challenges we were facing, and working with us to develop practical action plans.

I had the opportunity to work with him off the back of Apex being awarded some funding through the Dacorum's Den initiative by Dacorum Borough Council. Meeting James a number of times, we were able to build a professional relationship. I have been working with Simon since June 2018 this year and he has completely changed my vision for the business in a short period of time. We participated in a team DISC assessment and then met with James @ ActionCoach to decipher the results and what it meant for our team- wow! This was a hugely valuable tool and with James' help we were able to identify the areas of least effectiveness within our team and what we could do about it, as well as learn how best to work - and communicate - with other members of the team.

We received a personal, friendly yet professional approach from James with every interaction (calls, emails and f2f) and he is able to get the best out of each team member in a group environment which is a huge help with more junior members of the team.

We've come away with new strategies to work better together, to get the most out of ourselves and each other, and also with a greater focus on our aims and goals.
