Got a call from somebody claiming to be from Accident Management Solutions today. Once they realised I'm not going to use their services they just hung up the phone. As from the call, it is clear that they are a bunch of straight up criminals using illegally obtained information without proper consents and opt out management.

Once I found out what the company is (they didn't mention this), I said I'll contact the ICO for GDPR breach and wanted them to delete my details (they have to do this on request by law), but they just hung up before I could say anything.

I urge everyone who gets a cold call from them to take 5 minutes (seriously, that's all it takes) to fill out an ICO complaint online and maybe we'll eventually get rid of such fraudulent businesses and they'll pay enormous fines for illegal activity

Rude Cold Callers
I have had several unwanted calls now from this company. Extremely rude people demanding details of a car accident. One was particularly abusive. Put the phone down on me when I asked how they had got my details. I am reporting to ICO as I haven't consented to be contacted by these people.

How do you get them to stop calling Call insistently throughout the day regarding a car accident I've allegedly had in the last 2 years. If I ask where they are based they don't know and if I ask too many questions they hang up only to call again. Seriously annoying now, how can they be reported for harrassment? Any advice seriously welcome, I don't enjoy answering my phone anymore 😞

These people are calling me about accident and telling me I ticked a box which allows them to contact me! Haven't ticked no box thought all this new personal information stuff should have stopped these people from calling you! I questioned the 2nd bloke about them calling me and said you're nothing to do with my insurance company and you don't have the right to be calling me! All he kept saying was you've ticked a box that allows us to call you, er no!

I've been called from AMS for years and i know exactly where all you coming from, however 2 months ago i really had a minor road accident and just played along for the fun of it and to my surprise they do HELP people and have plenty of solicitors..... and receive 3200GB. THANKS FOR ALL THE HARASSING CALLS AMS

The real AMS UK was dissolved in September 2021. An active scammer has taken over and are currently ( October 2021) making scam insurance calls.

5 calls from them today. Each time I ask to sopeak to therir Data Controller, they hang up.
I suppose GDPR does not apply to scammers and fraudsters.
