One of the best holidays I've ever had. Great location, such a fun atmosphere the whole time. The pace and schedule of activities was perfectly pitched. Staff were friendly and helpful and the coach and drivers also added positively to the experience. The Ardèche kayak descent is a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommended!

My son and I had a great time on the Ardeche Adventure. We loved the chance to make friends with other families, the fun campsite and hearty food. The highlight was the amazing two-day canoeing trip and the other other adventurous activities.

Holidayed with them at their Wales site on a single parent holiday. We had a great time. It was very well organised, the activities were all run very smoothly and met the abilities of the whole group. The staff were friendly and entertained the children not only whilst doing the activities but at meal times, in the evenings etc etc.
The communication from the management team was also very good with any questions or queries being answered promptly. All in all I would recommend Acorn for a holiday, we are going with them again this summer to one of their French site and we can not wait.

Last year me and my son used Acorn adventure for Ardeche holiday. I have to say it was absolutely brilliant. The activities were superb - the kayaking trip was something else! The staff were friendly and well organised. So impressed I was with Acorn that I've booked to go with them again this year to Malta.

We have been going to the Ardeche for over 20 years and have always had a great trip. The activities are strong and we see the children develop their teamwork and personal skills over the week. The organisation of the trip is excellent and the communication and administration from both the site in France and also Acorn HQ in England is top notch. We had a last minute flight cancellation and the work done by Kim and Dee was brilliant.

Our kids had a fantastic time here. The staff were very friendly, engaging and enthusiastic, the kids especially enjoyed the evening entertainment.

With activities either side of lunch the kids were always entertained and engaged with some sort of activity.

The meals were of a very good standard and portions generous.

The price of this holiday was extremely good value for money. So much so that we’re booked to visit the Ardeche, France with Acorns this year.

Thanks to Kim and all the team at Acorns who continue to do a great job.

Travelled back to the Ardeche in June 2022 with a school party after a two year break due to COVID. As always, Acorn were very welcoming and had arranged a detailed itinerary of activities. The post Brexit rules had meant the range of activities had changed; however, the variety was still excellent, including visiting the local high ropes course! The tents were, as always, basic but clean and the pupils were comfortable; however, the standard of the food had dropped since previous visits. Sarah, the Centre Manager, was excellent in her communication and understanding, and was open to feedback and suggestions about the food, which she promised to look into for the future. It is a great trip and experience for the pupils and we will be heading back in 2023!

I have been using Acorn for over 20 years to run trips to the Ardeche Gorge. The company never fails to deliver in terms of safety, adventure and fun. I would not consider using another company again. Acorn adds that little bit of extra in every way, from the private campsite with the swimming pool to the, superb staff who from the moment of booking are looking after your every wish. The activities are well thought through to give the very best fun in the safest of ways. Acorn have literally given hundreds of our pupils the experience of a life time. A huge thanks you.
