Like many other people we were trying to find an architect for our extension.We we’re recommended Iain from Architectural Plans by a friend who had recently used him.
We had a fairly good idea what we wanted and with Iain’s input he changed a few things around and we are very happy with the end result.
We wanted a rear and partial side extension and a roofline which would not obscure our back bedroom window and would have as little impact on our neighbours as possible.
The result is we have a great extra living space with a good size shower room and utility room.
Iain took full advantage of the extra ceiling height in all rooms and we now have a combed ceiling in our living space with French doors making it a fantastic extra living space.
We would definitely recommend Iain.

Iain from Architectural Plans, couldn't have been more helpful to us. We are getting a single storey kitchen extension with separate bathroom and utility room.

We have never had any kind of building work done before, so we really didn't know how to go about it. Iain explained everything really well to us, and in words we could understand. That made us feel really happy at going ahead with the project.

He sent us several different drawings so that we could have different options to choose from, and always took on board any ideas we might have had.

Wouldn't have known where to start with any of our plans but Iain Penman came recommended to us by our builder and so glad he did. He understood exactly what we wanted to achieve with our garage conversion and completed all of the necessary paperwork and association with the council planning department, quickly completing everything and getting all of the necessary information to our builder. Iain understood I had no concept of any of this and spoke in layman terms so I understood everything along the way. He created great drawings for our builder clearly showing everything we discussed and i look forward to seeing the finished result.
