We initially contacted Ajay only because Asco Lights were listed as a supplier of Occhio lights in the North of England and we wished to see the products. Our first meeting with Ajay lasted 3 hours. We were thoroughly impressed by his knowledge, his ideas, his professional manner and his great passion. It didn't take long to hire Ajay as a consultant for our project and to purchase all our lighting and related controls through Asco Lights. He produces all the required plans and schedules to allow electricians to carry out the installation. We have not yet finished the project but we are super confident that the results will be amazing. Extremely disappointing experience. Be careful before giving business to this company and the owner Ajay. Having seen positive reviews online, I contacted Ajay to provide a lighting design service for my semi-detached home. I mentioned that it is a modest house and I need a quick turnaround.

He said that he has done this many times before and once I pay, he would put all his resources behind this and produce a design, specification, and loading schedule. He also promised to provide various product recommendations and a quote to supply the lighting.

He charged me £780 in October and until now, in the name of design, what I have received is a rough pen markup on my architectural drawing. No information regarding the type of lights, recommended lumens per room, ideal color temperature, or loading schedule.

He recommended downlights which cost nearly £100 per light. I told him that it's out of my budget but still waiting for him to provide alternative suggestions.

I have been chasing him for over two months. I emailed him highlighting what he promised at the beginning and what I have received from him and he hasn't bothered to reply! Avoid this company. Save your money - go somewhere else.
