Karen Valentine at Blackwood and Smith dealt with my late aunt's estate and I was extremely impressed with the service she provided. There were a large number of beneficiaries including 2 living abroad and a considerable number of companies to contact as part of the process. All the communications which I received were timely and very detailed and clear. When it became apparent that the winding up of the estate was taking longer than expected Karen arranged to make interim payments to all of the beneficiaries which was greatly appreciated. Karen's persistence in dealing with some of the larger well known Scottish companies and constantly checking that they had the correct details before accepting any repayments or invoices is to be admired.
