Please read this so you can make an inform decision.
Tobbs has applied for a planning permission on our behalf which has been refused and we are unable to get in touch with him since then.

1. The application was refused with no grounds for appeal because it was completely (as per council report) unproportioned and out of the touch, with a quick google we were able to find that the design was 50% bigger than what's allowed.

2. Tobbs is NOT an architect , ARB has no records of him , he is an architectural technologist which comes with a different set of qualifications and skills but he would not correct us when referring to him as an architect, CIAT are looking into it , issued a letter to him and had no response for over a month.

3. Tobbs had submitted an invalid planning permission on our behalf to the council which took us 10 days to get a hold of him to submit a valid one.

4. Tobbs has assured us in writing that if the application is refused he will follow up with the council but he is nowhere to be seen or found.

Currently, there is an outstanding complaint against Tobbs with CIAT, professional standards and consumers rights. please look somewhere else so you don't lose your money and go through the poor experience we had.

Unfortunately communication is a massive issue here. We are now having to move our project to another architect despite paying in full. We are getting no response to phone calls, texts, emails, voicemails on basic project queries. It has been like this on the run up to starting our build for months now. Unfortunately Blose is just not reliable. Would highly recommend to avoid.

This was a rescue project. My previous architect designed something that made absolutely no sense so I gave Blose a call and they were ready to save the day. Working with The Blose company was a breeze. As it was my first building project, I had some idea of what I wanted the property to look like so I gave them a brief. The brief could have been a lot clearer but it was enough for Blose to go away and return with a masterpiece. They created something that was a marvel to look at.

The property was a 3 unit bungalow in Ghana. Their understanding of building regulations and what would be visually acceptable is one thing that was to marvel at.

The turn around time, their communication and the quality of work was outstanding. I can’t wait for the next project. Because I will be contacting Tobbs and the team at Blose once again.
