Had an L3 survey on a 1930s house we're (hopefully) buying done by Brickfield.

From initial call through to getting the report, perfect communication from Mandy, clear on both requirements and next steps, and prompt on responses. Don't think we had a single email go unanswered longer than 30 (work time) minutes, which I absolutely wouldn't have set the bar at. Arranged access and time with vendor's estate agents, I pretty much only had to pay the invoice and send them the details, they took care of everything else.

Rob did the actual survey, called me right after, explained any concerns and what he thought of the property, all clearly. Got the full survey report the promised 4 days later. I've seen some pretty dramatic surveys across my friend group, there are no unsubstantiated claims here. Everything covered was largely what I was already told about on the phone, with pictures to evidence all claims, and clearly marked things they couldn't opine on, e.g., state of floors covered by carpet.

Assuming the sale goes through, I'm left with an obvious list of jobs in priority order, and a few things to double check with solicitors.

Unquestionably would use Brickfield again and recommend to everyone if buying around their area.

Used Brickfield for our first home. Not only did they complete a full building survey (level 3) for us, but also helped to guide us through the process as first time buyers and organised all of the dates/times of the survey on our behalf. As a result of the survey, we were able to have the vendor make changes to the property before exchanging that gave us extra peace of mind without any cost to us. When we told Brickfield about this, they gave us even more advice! Would really recommend them, they clearly have their clients best interests at heart.
