Having heard good things from friends about Capital Asset Management, I expected a professional investment service. But my wife and I were most pleasantly surprised at the level of care and attention we received from Don Fraser and his team in the analysis and assessment of our investment objectives and our life-goals in general. I was introduced to Capital Asset Management by a retired and well respected financial advisor. Though I have used different financial advisors before for my pension, Trust investment and self investment , I find their cost ratio in general to be too high. As I am now retired, I wish to sit back and enjoy life, and let a truly independent financial advisor does the work for me. Also, I am looking for passive investment to reduce cost. I have several online meetings with Don Fraser and his team at Capital Asset Management. It was clear that the ethos of the company fits well with my requirements. Don Fraser has taken a holistic view of my situation before giving his considered financial advice. I have chosen the CAM60 portfolio for my Trust investment and CAM40 for my own investment. So far, my experience with Capital Asset Management has exceeded my expectation.

I enjoyed a long chat with Nick, a new member of the team after receiving a courteous query from Don to ask if I would talk to him about my experience of Capital. I told Nick I had always appreciated the very helpful annual conversations with Dan about my finances, although I am neither financially savvy nor interested in the details as long as I am satisfied that my total assets are stable or appreciating in real terms. Capital Asset Management have been managing my resources and helping me understand the many options that are available to me for quite some time now. With many options in the market for investment its easy to end up being just an insignificant part of a large institutions client base getting standardised advice sold as personalised. The joy of Capital is that its made clear from the start its personal, its about you and your needs and that Don and the team genuinely care about their clients. Not only that but the depth of experience of the team is clear and confidence in their insights and advice builds easily, which in my case is a high bar given my 20 years in the financial services industry.
