I decided to invest in some coaching this year to make sure that my talks on mindfulness were as effective as they could be. I wasn't sure what the benefits of this coaching might be so I arranged a free to call to ask Dawn what she could offer me. This call was invaluable in helping us find a way to work together and I realised that this could be really beneficial.

This was a really invaluable experience for me. As someone who works alone, it was a real opportunity to bounce ideas off someone and to think about the structure of my talks and to make sure that they are effective in relaying the information in a manageable way.

Dawn also taught me useful exercises to do before a presentation and ways to ensure that I spoke slowly enough for people to be able to follow.

Seeing my words through the eyes of someone else and hearing them being spoken by someone else, enabled me to make sure that they were catering well for their intended audience. Knowing that the experience of the talk would be valuable to the audience is just one of the aspects that has increased my confidence in delivering the talks.

If you find speaking in public a little difficult then Dawn can help. That might be giving a presentation, best man speech or even father of the bride. Alternatively you could go to Hyde Park aka Speaker's Corner and stand on a box for FREE and see how may people stop and listen to you.

Alternatively why not enrole on one of Dawn Gregory's causes in 2018 and realise the hardest thing is to sign on the course. After this life will be a lot easier whenever you are asked to speak in public.
