We chose Emsley Mavor as we felt that Jess and Jette would represent us very well at the escorted viewings necessary during the present restrictions. Jette and Jess have such a refreshingly personal approach to their job. During the marketing of our house, we found them to be knowledgeable, warm and honest. They use social media really effectively (as well as the usual property websites and apps) to extend their reach to potential buyers. Their communications with us and with prospective purchasers were excellent and the extended team they work with (photographer, EPC assessor etc.) were all brilliant. We highly recommend Emsley Mavor Estate Agents. We received the most excellent personal service from both Jette and Jessica who worked tirelessly to find us our new home. They faced challenging times whilst we were looking for a property due to COVID but they stepped up to the plate and went that extra mile to ensure they provided a professional but caring service to us, attending viewings outside office hours to suit us and the sellers. It is hard to describe how they differ from the standard Estate Agent but suffice to say it’s been like having a personal friend find a home for us!

Jette and Jess go above and beyond other estate agents in the area with their superb customer service. Jette managed my house purchase, kept in contact with the selling solicitor, my solicitor and I at all times, keeping the process running to time. I viewed my (now) home with Jess in summer 2020 and as a result decided to also sell my house with Emsley Mavor, as I’d not yet put it on the market. I therefore dealt with Jette too, as she did my valuation etc. I found both of them to be friendly, professional and extremely helpful whenever I needed anything. Although the whole process of buying and selling houses is never stress free, it was definitely a good experience for me, helped by Emsley Mavor’s knowledge, experience and willingness to accommodate everyone’s needs in the chain. They were under pressure in a very busy housing market and mid-pandemic, which meant solicitors and council searches were slower than usual but they were unflappable and unfailingly pleasant. They also (which I appreciated), only got in touch if necessary rather than for the sake of it to update me on progress of both sale and purchase. I would definitely recommend and would use them again without hesitation (although I’m hoping not to move again for some long time as I’m very happy in my new home)!

I bought my first property towards the end of last year, as a first time buyer I had no idea what I was doing. Choosing to buy through Elmsley Mavor was absolutely the best decision, not only do they sell beautiful properties, but Jess and Jette just seemed to go above and beyond at every chance possible.
