Dealing with Darryl was the best experience of using a recruiter I’ve ever had. That might not sound like a very hard thing to achieve given the approach, and attitudes, of some of other recruiters that I’m sure we’ve all crossed paths with at one point or another. I was a little dubious at first after previous bad experiences with recruiters but Darryl took the time to listen and tease out of me what it was that I really wanted and needed in my next move, and what worked for my personal situation.

This did take us on a slightly circuitous route of several interviews for varying roles but he was very patient throughout and worked with me to find the right outcome. Never pushy to take a role for the sake of it, I always felt he wanted me to be totally happy with any decisions.

Most of the roles he found were speculative and I would never have found those opportunities on my own or through my network.
