I've been a client of Focused Financial since 2017 when I wanted help to assess whether I had sufficient pension funds to consider retiring early. James took considerable time to understand my financial position as well as my life goals and risk appetite before coming to his recommendations. I subsequently felt confident enough to retire early and I've never looked back since. My wife and I first met with James Etheridge of Focused Financial in 2021 to discuss our retirement plans. In early 2023 he prepared a report with recommendations for us, and following our retirement last summer a significant proportion of our pension and other assets have been placed under management with Focused Financial.
Only time will tell how these assets perform during our retirement; however I can say that we have been impressed throughout by the professionalism shown by James and his team, and by the quality and clarity of the reports and recommendations provided. They're also nice people.
We are very happy with our choice to work with Focused Financial.

I have been using James and Focused Financial now for my financial advice for quite a few years.

I have known James before he branched out with Focused Financial.

He was advising me about my pensions and helped condense my personal pensions all into one pot that has worked better for me.

When we inherited some money several years ago, we decided to seek financial advice, especially as we were both considering the idea of giving up work either completely or reducing down to part time working.

We located Focused Financial and were invited for a no obligation consultation. Right from the start James made us both feel very comfortable and at ease in helping us to realise what our needs might be in our later years.
