Incredibly unhelpful. A number of builders have said that the plan they provided was over-engineered and it makes the cost prohibitive and unviable. Obviously the engineer may be correct but every time I asked for support and information, I've just got a one line email response rather than any engagement or help.

They could have actually consulted when they did the initial drawings and explained in layman's terms the impact and that the project would be incredibly expensive (digging out the floor, laying concrete for a post as opposed to concrete padstones, super spreader beam) but no narrative or customer support was provided. So I've paid for plans I can't use.

I wouldn't recommend.
