Beautiful walk around the marina and you can really see so much more of West Bay

Very pleasant and relaxing. West Bay is a small fishing port at the beginning of the Cesel Beach which stretches from there to Portland. The pebbles which form the beach graduate in size as it progresses, small at West Bay to large at Portland.

Harbour close to wonderful Jurassic Coast. Views are stunning. Local food outlets and pubs serving great food.

Great use of an old train station. Very cosy inside with benches outside. Meringue was very good but coffee (caramel latte) was a bit lack lustre. Not the worst I've had but could have been a lot better. Didn't eat a meal but the food coming out for other customers looked good.

Provided a great stop-off port. There were poor facilities however, and the water was slightly murky. The harbour is nice and protected from the elements though, and the change of your standard pontoons for the versa pontoons is ideal for maintenance and is good for working on the boat as they are slightly lower.

Great place for bikers. Good parking next to harbour.good fish and chips. Small portion available just to fill that gap.
