The hotel looks impressive but inside is in need of some love and paint. Plenty of parking at Β£7 24 hours. Reception check in friendly and professional. Room was large, beds comfy, hair dryer, iron, tea coffee. Shower over deep bath.
But room and hotel could do with refurbishment as carpets marked, furniture dated rooms tired looking. Nothing in walking distance. But restaurants and takeaway five mins drive
Breakfast buffet plenty of choice hot and cold, staff friendly and helpful.

There is a sign in the foyer as you enter that the hotel will be refurbished soon as a DoubleTree.||There is no way this hotel is deserving of the Hilton name. We stayed here some years ago. Handy for Leicester as it is not far from the motorway and a few miles to the centre of Leicester.||Check in was brisk but it took several attempts for the key card to work. Once we got in, the room had someone else in it. We were given the wrong rooms.||It was clear by now that the hotel has a shoestring staff. Very few people on duty at any time.||The room we got was functional but dated. There was a drip in the shower all the time.||The hotel has a fitness room and a swimming pool. You need to book a pool time in advance. You are allowed just one hour a day. Not an issue for us, we liked the pool but I noted the jacuzzi was not working.||The breakfast was ok, bit for a Hilton disappointing. Cost cutting in action. In our previous stay you could have made to order omelettes.||Now the egg station is just for fried eggs. The cook works both in the kitchen and at the egg station. Let's just say you have to wait for your fried eggs or poached eggs to be replenished.||They had hash browns but most of the time, they looked cremated. When you managed to get some that decently cooked, the hash browns were nice.||Given the price, this hotel falls below Hilton brand standards.

Lovely staff and lovely area where the hotel is if you want go shopping. But it is out dated and we stayed this weekend in heatwave. Highly recommend to get ice buckets and keep plenty of water as no air con in the rooms can't open window very far. Also showers aren't great in the rooms. Food is lovely there. Just very outdated. It is clean.

We recently stayed at the Hilton Leicester. We stay at a lot of Hiltons around the world, but we'd read quite a few negative reviews here on TripAdvisor, so there was a degree of anticipation about the stay.||As it happened, it was a great stay, with everything as good as it could be.||The room was a refurb'd room, and it was very pleasantly decorated, and furnished. The hotel had left us a number of complimentary snacks, and vouchers for drinks at the bar.||The bathroom shower was very good, and was the first Grohne shower I've come across with a push button to turn on/off. Very swish!||We drive a Tesla, and we were pleased to find chargers in the car park, which we did use. Expensive, but it made our onward trip to the Channel Tunnel the next morning so much easier.||Overall we couldn't have expected better.||We stay at a lot of hotels, but I rarely post reviews these days, but in light of the many negative scores on here, I felt the need to offer our experiences.||Thanks for reading.

The hotel overall is nice, offering clean spacious bedrooms with very comfy beds and a big bath tub. The gym is also big enough to accommodate a few people and is in overall good nick. It’s also great to have a big swimming pool, hairdresser and a spa facilities on site. Only loses a star over its price point, way too high compared to other hotels in the same league/area.

I was quite disappointed if I'm honest. The Hilton Group used to be quite prestigious hotels but they are not now, or this one wasn't, at all. I thought the rooms were tired and needed updating and modernising. Even the corridors and carpet needed updating. We had no hand-wash in the basin dispenser, the door was too wide for the small mere size of the bathroom and it needed updating, very badly. No mirror in the bedroom so impossible to see what my hair looked like when I dried it. No complimentary biscuits and no fridge. When I visited the steam room in the eve there were 2 children aged 6 and 8 in there, not what I expected who then went in the hot tub. Both are not for children. The swimming pool was noisy. When in hot tub, a member of the LW Health Club who told me his membership price, told me that the hotel has many immigrants staying there who are allowed to use the pool and facilities, omg, I was horrified. He said recently it is always noisy and rammed full, not good. I had thought it would have been alot better, very disappointed 😞.

Food was such a letdown. I was so bored munching through it. Really bland. What a dull menu. For me if you can't get the food right there is no point staying. Did like the huge bathroom/bedroom with a sofa and cool desk. Absolutely massive. Staff ok.

Do not stay here. Seriously - book anywhere else.

The staff were great and as helpful as they could be. But the room was unusable.

There's zero air vents in the room, so you rely on the window that opens no more than a centimeter or two for air. And on a hot day, the room is unbearably hot. Not warm, not a bit hot - unbearably hot. It's not like there's a thermostat that doesn't work well, there's nothing.

They offered a fan, and suggested another room. But it's just not worth it. I really don't blame the staff - they did everything they could to help, but this hotel needs knocking down and starting again with modern hotel infrastructure.

Hilton hotels are generally disappointing, but this was something else. I'm surprised Hilton let them keep using the name.

I got a refund and checked in to the wonderful hotel at the other side of the junction. I suggest you do the same.
