From the moment Yamuna checked me in (I'm still here 4 x weeks or so later due to an unfortunate change in circumstances at home), I have never been treated with such , professionalism, kindness, and most of all, care. Staying in a lovely hotel can be nice for a few days & seen as "treat", however, it can be a very lonely & isolating time. ||Even though life is far from ideal at this current time, the whole team here have made my stay really enjoyable. ||Although my time here will come to an end in the coming days, I will always refer to this fantastic hotel as my second "home". I will be back, but only for one night only (promise) ;).||By no means is this an exhaustive list, however, I feel inclined to mention certain truly dedicated staff members who are HUGE assets to the Hilton brand:||* Yamuna - professional, dedicated & a true light as soon as I walk out of the elevator every morning. |* Stefano - the ultimate epitome of a gentleman. Professional, collected and very efficient - I'd employ you at my firm (if you ever want to venture in the insurance world!).|* Ana - a joy to talk to, professional at all times, & could not do anymore for her guests. |* Rose - professional, helpful, and always on hand to assist - even with some late check-ins of mine. |* Cristina - a huge asset to the housekeeping team. Polite, honest, and a truly dedicated member of staff to the Hilton brand.|* Silvue & Malroy - absolute Gentleman. Although I tend to keep away from the bar area (given my situation, we all know this can be detrimental otherwise). They have both been so professional, & helpful throughout my stay - and Silvue makes a cracking G&T.||Overall, although I am surprised to admit it; when I do get my new home up to the standard that I can have my 2 x amazing children stay overnight, I will be sad to leave the Hilton (Croydon).||When that day comes that I check out for the final time, I will be thanking you all personally. I may even be a little sad.||Thank you.

From the moment I arrived until the very last goodbye, my experience at Hilton Croydon was nothing short of exceptional. This hotel truly stands out as a perfect destination for any visitor seeking comfort, warmth, and top-tier hospitality.

Each morning began with a breakfast that could easily rival that of a five-star resort. A particular highlight was the freshly squeezed orange juice – a delightful touch that’s increasingly rare – and the made-to-order pancakes, which were simply divine. The variety on offer was remarkable, catering to every taste and preference, from traditional English favourites to lighter, healthier options.

What truly elevated the experience, however, was the incredible staff. Every team member greeted me with a genuine smile and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was flawless. It’s one thing to offer quality facilities, but when they’re accompanied by such heartfelt hospitality, it transforms a good hotel into a truly memorable one.

Starting the day with kind words and a beautifully prepared breakfast made from high-quality ingredients really set the tone – I left the breakfast room each morning feeling both cared for and energised.

Throughout my stay, it was evident that the entire staff takes immense pride in creating a welcoming and seamless environment. Whether I was at reception, in the restaurant, or passing through the lobby, someone was always on hand to offer assistance with a warm and thoughtful approach.

Without a doubt, Hilton Croydon ranks as one of the best accommodation choices in the area, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel offers a level of service and comfort that is truly second to none.

Hilton Croydon, Hotel with the warmest welcome. On Wednesday afternoon I approached the front desk with a simply enquiry asking if we could check in slightly early.
It was then the warmest of welcomes was extended by a real jewel amongst the Hilton Staff members.
Yams smile and exuberant cheerful welcome was just what I needed after a two hour drive to London along with a two hour drive across town.
Yams warm effervescent engaging personality and efficient work ethic, assured me that everything was taken care of, even to furnishing me with a digital key. This extra service was well appreciated.
I'd like to express that I found Yams to be a valuable, efficient and conscientious member of the Hilton team.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed with modern amenities and cozy charm. My room was spotless and incredibly comfortable.||A special mention goes to Irina, who works at the hotel’s restaurant. She made my dining experience truly stand out with her warm, attentive service. Irina went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed.

Nice location close enough to the airport. The check in was smooth and secure. The room is lovely and actually not cold as other hotel rooms can be. Tonight the hotel is very busy. I can hear the other guests as there is no soundproofing. I recommend this hotel as a more affordable option in London close to Gatwick airport. For the wellness aside from the gym you have to book and pay. Breakfast is great here lots of options.

Nice clean rooms, good size and accessibility of the hotel were great. Great location for local food and drink nearby for something quick of not using the restaurant/food available at the hotel itself. Great keep it up

The worst Hilton I have ever been! The reception never informed us properly about the deposit money and payment regulations, though we still paid everything. After 15 days of leaving the hotel, my deposit money is still reserved from my credit card. I called them already twice saying that they should release it, but they said only the bank can do this. My bank said exactly what I was saying to them. Never again visiting this hotel.
