We booked 1 night at the Hilton London Heathrow Terminal 5 before our flight from Heathrow Airport the next morning, a choice we were incredibly pleased with. We managed to snag a great deal: a family room with 15 days of parking, for £223! This was a fantastic value, especially considering the cheapest park and ride at Heathrow was around £200 for 2 weeks. ||Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovely surprise. Our family room had been thoughtfully decorated for my husbands birthday! Balloons, a towering towel cake, a special birthday message and chocolates added a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable. ||We dropped our bags and headed down to the hotel's bar & restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxing perfect for unwinding after a day of travel. We ordered some nachos to share and enjoyed chicken kebab wraps whilst the boys tucked into a pizza, it was all delicious. ||The comfortable beds at the Hilton ensured a restful sleep, leaving us feeling refreshed and ready for our flight. Heathrow T5 is only a short drive away and the hotel run a shuttle bus every 30 minutes which costs £13 for a family ticket. We planned to get the 6am shuttle, which arrived promptly outside the hotel lobby. ||We would highly recommend the stay and park package at the Hilton T% for a stress free start to your next adventure.

So not a bad airport hotel, seems to have improved since the last time I visited.
Rooms are a little dated but a good size with nice bathrooms, no coffee machines in executive rooms which is a shame.
Lovely smelling lobby and friendlyish staff.
Executive lounge was excellent, really good choice of drinks including self pour spirits, food was good, loved the cheese selection as well as the crudities with hummus.
If you want to save some money there's plenty of normal bus services running near the hotel, you don't have to pay for the hotel hoppa service.

We stayed at the Hilton terminal 5 for one night before an early flight the next day. The staff were so welcoming from the moment we checked in. The man who checked us in at reception was so lovely to my 3 year old daughter and gave her this brilliant games pack for her to keep. It was such a nice touch and actually a really clever pack with some good games. The reception and lounge area are really nicely done and it has a nice feel when you enter the hotel.

Our room was nice with lovely Crabtree and Evelyn products and a nice little fold up bed for our daughter which was perfect. No free water in the room though which I did think was a bit disappointing.

We ate at the restaurant and had the Indian buffet, which was delicious especially the Lamb Rogan Josh. The staff were ALL so lovely especially our waitress Sowmya who knew the menu really well and handled my allergy queries brilliantly. As I say, all of the staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. The Head Chef came out when we were getting our food and spoke to us, then made sure my daughter got extra ice cream - a lovely touch.

We’d stay again and would recommend.

I recently stayed at the Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 under the Public Sector Leisure Offer, and I’m sad to say it was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had—far from the standard I expect from Hilton.||From check-in, there were problems. The reception staff were unaware of the booking details and incorrectly claimed that breakfast was not included. I had to show proof before they reluctantly corrected the booking—without any apology. Shockingly, the same issue happened again the next morning, when I was told yet again that I didn’t have breakfast included.||When I raised the issue, the only manager present, a woman named Elizabeth, was incredibly rude and dismissive. She insisted the booking did not include breakfast and said they would offer it “as a favour,” in a tone that made it feel like I was being done a personal favour rather than receiving what I had paid for. When I pointed out that this back-and-forth was unacceptable, she coldly told me I should leave the hotel if I was unhappy with the service.||Despite my efforts to resolve things calmly, I was essentially forced to check out early. Elizabeth promised the booking would be amended and a corrected invoice issued—but at check-out, she avoided all contact and the front desk staff said they couldn’t make changes, telling me to "contact them on Monday" instead. This crucial information had never been communicated earlier. We were kept waiting at reception for over an hour with no resolution, and eventually had to leave without receiving any of what was promised.||Beyond this, the hotel had basic operational issues: only one lift working, forcing guests to use stairs, and limited TV functionality in the room.||For a Hilton property, this level of poor communication, unprofessional conduct, and lack of basic courtesy is completely unacceptable. I have submitted a formal complaint to Hilton and hope they take this seriously.||Advice to fellow travelers: I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel until they address their customer service and management issues. There are better options in the Heathrow area.

We booked an executive room and found it very suitable for our needs. So close to the airport but our room was very, very quiet. Good noise insulation. Access to the executive lounge with food and drink available 5pm to 7pm. A very good will stocked buffet breakfast was included. We also left our car in the secure grounds for a very good price included in the room price. We requested a late check out and were delighted to have this offered for free until 2 pm. Further hours cost £15/hrs. We were a little disappointed to check out at 3pm and be charged £30! I would appreciate our £15 refund. Otherwise, the service was excellent.

Hilton Heathrow T5 is a misnomer. This Hilton is NOT located near Heathrow terminal. At least a 10 minute car or bus ride. The bus service is H5H (approx 7 pounds) and can be an hour wait. There is a Hilton Garden Inn on airport property that is walkable to the terminals albeit significantly more costly than the reasonably priced Hilton T5 reviewed here. |The Hilton is clean and service is good, as expected by a frequent visitor to brand properties. Quick comment of note about an employee…. Her name is Angel. She works in the breakfast area. Very sweet and attentive, and made sure our table was very clean before we sat down. |We will stay here again based on price, but knowing that our journey takes extra effort after collecting our baggage.

First receptionist we dealt with was really nice but then she had to ask a colleague for help with our check in and she was extremely rude. Having booked an executive room, we were told we didnt get access to the executive lounge as hadn't booked direct. Load of rubbish. Went to our room, quick call to Hilton Customer Care and they confirmed we did have executive lounge access so went back to reception. The hotel is really comfortable, big spacious rooms, nice beds, bathrooms with shower and bath. Water wasn't free even in executive rooms which was a bit of a shock (£2.50 a bottle).Executive lounge was nice but service much cut back from last time I stayed at few years ago. Fridges empty most of the day, snacks not topped up. Dirty cups everywhere etc. Evening snacks was good but again, reduced compared to what they used to offer. Spirits and prosecco was a nice touch though.Breakfast served in the restaurant for executive room guests. Really nice selection, mostly buffet but eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Nice coffee.Staff on the whole are really friendly and welcoming (apart from the receptionist on day one). We had 3 nights here and enjoyed it.There is a shuttle bus from terminal 5 to the hotel door which is £6.80 per person or you can take bus number 5 which stops on the road outside the hotel for £1.50. If staying more than one night, there is buses to Windsor, legoland, Slough and hounslow (for the tube to central london).

The check in process was great, they were able to assign us a room at 1:30pm! After a long overnight flight that was a PLUS. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable! They even had a US socket for our US plugs! The two staff that worked in the RIVER BAR on 6/28/25 were an amazing compliment to Hilton! They were kind and hospitality was genuine!
The check in staff however was not as hospitable, the front desk girl that checked us im seemed very impatient with our questions and she was a low talker (in a lobby what was filled with guest) she seemed not too familiar with the area not really able to give us clear directions for food and local things to do, which is really what out of town guest need. Our overall stay with our River Bar experience, the room and price was a overall great and we will stay here again.
