99% of the time, the drivers of the number 4 bus are absolute gems but there has been numerous occasions now where this older gentleman with glasses has been very rude to me when iv got onto the bus, dont work for a transport service if you dont like people!

Twice in 1 day, their drivers have shown a lack of professionalism. The first instance at Queens way roundabout (about 10am) tried pulling out in front of me, then gesticulating as if he had priority. The second at 19.00 (number 4, MX09 CHK) on Queensway at lidl traffic lights set of asif to race us only to cut infront of us dangerously before morrisons roundabout laughing with his passengers. Highly unprofessional and dangerous.

We were picked up at 7.37am from Brumby corner for our trip to Coventry. We had a great day, comfort break on the way there, arrived approx 11am allowing 5hrs to see the sights.
We managed to take in the wonderful cathedral and museum, a lovely lunch then on to the Motor museam, what a treat. The coach was very comfortable with a great driver. We can't wait to book our next trip. Sandra and Rob.

Hornsby's provide a school service between Kirton and Brigg...apart from they don't. Sure, they provide a bus, but the provision (by their own admission) apparently isn't enough to meet demand. During my daughters first two half-terms, I easily got her a pass. This time around - sold out. How can they justify providing half a bus service They know one bus isn't enough, so why don't they provide two? At £87 per child per half term, it's not like they'd be losing money! Bus companies are happy to run empty town buses, but can't provide a service where there's a guaranteed income stream.

Unfortunately both me and her mum work full time and can't just use the school run as an excuse for being late every day. That would lead to disciplinary action, eventual sacking and bankruptcy when the mortgage doesn't get paid. The only option we now have is to send our daughter to a more local school that was recently torn a new one by ofsted. Thanks Hornsby's ?

Drivers can be quite friendly but time keeping is appalling. Frequently missing buses out especially no6. I know we are lucky that this should run every 10 mins but its unacceptable that I have to come out to work over an hour before my shift starts to make sure I'm not late! The 5.40 from the bus station is the worst for being missed out which means a 20 min wait for the next bus. The bus drops off passengers but instead of coming to pick up at the stand it goes straight out empty!

I have been on three bus trips this year and enjoyed them all . Well planned. Nice drivers. Been to whitby, harrogate autumn flower show, and on the vintage bus Barbara for festive afternoon tea in tealby. All coaches are very comfy.

love hornsbys always on time except for practical reasons i.e accomadating older people, people from all walks of life with mobility restrictions, women, men, children & pushchairs. always welcoming & froendly drivers who will literally go that extra MILE to assist others even after a 12 hour shift!! thanks hornsbys 🙂
