I was involved in a straightforward accident on 7th October . Someone went into the side of me on a roundabout and liability was clear. My claim was sent through to IMS via my own insurer (Lloyds bank). After reading some bad reviews (quite a lot) I have to say I was really really worried . I have to say , three weeks on , dealing with IMS has not been difficult at all . My car was deemed a total loss , and I’m now coming to the end of the process and awaiting payment, so I will update again once this comes in , but I have to say my calls were answered quickly, emails replied to within a day, staff I dealt with have been polite and I have felt listened too and kept informed as much as they can . In my case, it was the at fault party’s insurance who were delaying correspondence, and IMS do chase on your behalf , but I did also contact the third party insurer myself to find out what was happening because they were slow in this case . So far I’ve had a pretty positive experience and hoping that it will all now be settled in the next few days .

What a joke of a company, extremely poor customer service. Wasted my time and effort. Messed me about for 5 months and could not get my car repaired. They give you the option to go to a garage of your choice then only to reject due to the labour cost. They use evans harding engineers. I would also avoid them as they are not honest. Had to chase up for updates. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I’ve had a very good experience with IMS, After having a very terrible one with enterprise and a car garage that repaired my car through my insurer. It took a while but everything is finally in place. I blame the car garage for this not IMS as the garage was terrible with communication and IMS can’t get back to people with updates until they hear back from the people they are dealing with.

If you hear this company from your insurance company please be aware!!! They lied to me about the figure to retain my vehicle I got told £3500 and then the same person called me within 20 minutes and said £6500 saying he read the figures wrong!? how ridiculous clearly they can offer me that price but he decided to change it so they can gain more money they are all liars i got my car back and my insurance company said they paid ims and I should have received the total loss payment by now and they are still lying I still haven’t been paid I am still waiting. This company deserves to be taken to court!!!! Wasted my time stressed me out for two months over false figures. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY TELL YOU

They offered me a fair price for my vehicle. Good communication via text message to let me know progress and when payments were due to be sent. Small wait when trying to call in but they do give an option to be called back once you are first in the queue.
Payment received very promptly in 2 settlements as they previously made me aware of.

Upon reading the reviews on this company, I really wasn’t surprised ? Awful greedy company with no customer service!

Was on call with Simon - absolutely rude and racist man. Very patronising and speaking to me as though I am stupid ( I have a accent). Kept asking me several times if I understood and made me feel really small. I just asked questions about my vehicle and he was getting annoyed and giving me snappy answers back.

Then he started speaking to me with attitude and getting annoyed with me even more.

Really disgusted and disappointed with this company. Named “ incident management solutions” but they don’t find solutions, just avoid your questions and lie relentlessly.

This Simon guy told me he had called me when I have proof he did not! Then he went and authorised the settlement without my permission , despite him telling he will find out some stuff and get back to me! A sorry excuse of a company.

These people should close down - so useless and incompetent. Never dealt with such a unprofessional and lousy company. Even when I told Simon, I didn’t like the way he spoke - instead of having the decency to apologise, he starts defending himself and hung the call up. Really silly bloke with no real clue what’s going on. Please avoid at all costs! They will rip you off differently.

This company are unless, management isn’t a word they should be allowed to use in the title. They couldn’t manage to open a door! Unable to get a new car until they release the money to the finance company which they have had for over a week. My partner is now unable to work as she doesn’t have a car to get there. The accident which happened over a month ago has not been sorted even though it wasn’t here fault and the insurance company have agreed to payout. ?
