Absolutely Scam.

Booked a 16 seater minibus year and half ago for a trip. They first told that there bus was out of service and they would sort out transport with a sister company, but we would have to pay an extra £150 but they could not tell us the name of the company that they were going to send to us and wanted bank transfer. Upon saying we were happy and would pay in cash on arrival they refused this and they have now cancelled on us with less than 24 hours notice and a refusal to give us the money for 2 weeks. So we now have to find another minibus willing to drive us as such a short notice.

This took multiple phone calls and messages to sort out as they do not answer the phone I had to ring over 10 times each time waiting for them to answer. They have now just started ignoring the calls after they told us they will give us a refund in two weeks.

Awful customer service please don’t go with this company.

Book with them over a year ago, was then told bus was out of service but could go through a sister company for a extra £150. We offered this in cash, they then cancelled on us the day before going.

This company is a complete scam. We hired them to take us from Oakdale to Torquay.

Day before they asked us for more money.

We refused and they offered us a full refund.

It’s been over 2 weeks since and they have not refunded it.
Any attempt to contact them is greeted with silence. They view my messages on WhatsApp and still don’t respond. It’s theft what they have done to me and many others.

My honest opinion is the positive reviews on this profile are either bots or “bought” reviews.

If you value your money. Stay away from this company.

Booked a minibus for 11 people to Manchester airport, the bus turned up on time for the journey there and the journey back. However, there is minimal organisation within the company, got given the number of one driver then another driver which left me confused as to who I was actually messaging and whether they knew what was going on. I had to initiate the messages both times and felt quite rushed to make the payment the day before otherwise I was told the booking would be cancelled, I thought we could pay cash on the day after we put a deposit down but their policy with this must have changed from when I originally booked it- something quite stressful the day before a flight for 11 lads. If there was one number which the customer should contact to enquire about the booking and get information on their booking then I believe this would improve the company massively. All in all, we got to and from the airport in good time which is all that matters.

I recently had a profoundly disappointing experience with Kingsgate Coaches. After being contacted by their company over the phone regarding a price for a bus transfer from London to Glastonbury, I was provided with their IBAN bank details for payment. Following their instructions, I promptly made the bank transfer. Upon confirmation from my bank that the payment had been successfully processed, I reached out to Kingsgate Coaches to ensure they received the full amount requested.

To my dismay, I was informed that they hadn't received any payment and was advised to double-check with my bank. After providing them with evidence of the transaction, including the bank receipt, I was informed that the account they had provided was a "dormant account." When I requested clarification on why they had provided me with incorrect banking details and asked for documentation regarding the inactive account status, my inquiries were met with silence.

Instead of addressing my concerns, Kingsgate Coaches responded with a barrage of rude and unhelpful emails and messages, repeatedly claiming they hadn't received payment. This experience has left me deeply suspicious of the legitimacy of this company. The lack of transparency, coupled with their dismissive and discourteous communication, strongly suggests that Kingsgate Coaches may be involved in fraudulent activities.
In addition, I involved my bank to intervene and attempt to retrieve the payment, but they were unsuccessful in reaching Kingsgate Coaches. This further compounds my skepticism towards the integrity of the company and reinforces my suspicion that they may indeed be operating dishonestly.

Do not trust them!!!Terrible experience with this company! Paid in full and had booked months in advance but when out party of 10 arrived at Heathrow there was no coach to meet them. Company didn't return calls, repeatedly hung up on us then after 2 hours said no coach was available. No money returned so far.

After booking online and paying in full for Sheffield Wednesdays vs Barnsley at Wembley I had to contact the company to confirm that they had received the payment as I didn’t receive a confirmation email. I was told then that a driver would contact me 24 hours before he was due to pick us up to confirm pick up etc which he didn’t so I contacted them again and was greeted by a guy who spoke limited English who told me that he would struggle to get a coach because mine had broken down and that he would send 2 smaller ones but they couldn’t fit us all on.. I had to ring them up over and over again and sent numerous messages, after a few hours I was finally was told that they had sorted it and not to worry a new coach with 49 seats was coming and a driver would call to confirm and if I wanted to book anyone else on to fill the coach I could! 5 house later at midnight when there’s was no chance of getting any other form of travel they cancelled on me and turned off their phones.. absolute joke of a company and cannot be trusted they let 40 people down at the last minute including several kids wanting to go to Wembley for the first time.
