Extremely unreliable, I am outraged the amount of times I’ve been late or have missed certain things due to the lack of time management, and poor driving as some don’t even turn up. From my route, the buses come only once an hour, so you can see my frustration every time a bus has failed to turn up or has been late the constant changing times has been extremely confusing and has cost me and a lot of people valuable time that has been completely disrupted by the inconvenience of a bus which should not be something I have to worry about. I have been getting the 81 and 82 Buses since I was 11, and I can tell you now the stagecoach buses are 10 times better simply for the fact that it gets me to where I need to go on time, and are way more efficient. Not to mention the fact of waiting in the Lancaster bus station for an 81 and 82 bus, or there be a problem to then being greeted with not a single person being able to help you, as the bus drivers in the Lancaster bus station simply don’t know. I am appalled how the council has let this go on for so long. Some bus drivers are extremely kind and I respect all of them but this is ridiculous.

Driver of this coach in Lancaster pulled out on us whilst we were doing 30 miles an hour and caused my partner to have to brake sharply! Absolutely no need for the kind of dangerous driving. We beeped at him and he beeped back as if we had done something wrong! What a bloody plonker. Get some some new staff

These guys were operating a rail replacement coach from Lancaster to Barrow on 12th April at 22:10, my train was late, missed my earlier connectio and the young chap driving this coach could not have been more helpful, his coach wasn’t stopping at Arnside, I asked him about the other minibus that did. He went out of his way to ensure that one was running and offered to drop me near as he could if it wasn’t. He found the information I needed for me and was extremely helpful. What a credit to your company. Didn’t catch his name though. Good job! Thanks!

hourly service which is rarely on time, busses are often late or dont show up at all. also no communication between different bus companies so nobody ever knows whats going on.

this is getting beyond a joke…busses are continuously not turning up… specifically the 580..could you let us know when the busses aren’t coming…i can’t always get the train and taxis are £30 odd pounds…not on at all

Absolutely first class service.
Caught their service bus into Lancaster yesterday and unbeknownst to me dropped my bus pass. I only realised when I came to make my return journey. The driver on the return was kind and helpful to a very flustered me. I phoned the depot when I finally got home and David was really helpful and said the driver had found it and it would be back at the office that evening. As I have no transport he arranged for one of their drivers to return the pass to me the following day.
Amazing public service I'm really grateful to everyone involved?

Some of the drivers need to learn how to drive safely. Was driving through Lancaster, coach was parked up with hazards on. I went beside the coach whilst sitting in the queue. Driver decided he wanted to join the queue whether I was there or not.
Once the cars were moving the coach driver moved as well making me to have brake. I beeped at him only to get a fair fee gestures from the driver. Once he was able to get in the bus lane he sped off doing at least 45 mph. Disgraceful driving and behaviour.
