My experience with Lockhart Amin Accountants has been nothing short of a nightmare. I paid £1,800 in May 2023 to restore my company, but after that, Salman and his team went silent. Despite numerous attempts to reach them via WhatsApp and email, I received no responses, leaving me feeling utterly hopeless.

When they finally answered my call in October, the restoration process dragged on for months. By the time the company was restored in February 2024, I had to pay an additional £900 for another year's tax return, bringing the total to £2,700. Despite my repeated requests, they neglected to submit the required tax return to HMRC, resulting in a penalty notice from HMRC for £400 in June 2024.

In July 2024, even after I called HMRC to confirm that they hadn’t received the tax return, Lockhart Amin insisted they had submitted it. However, it seems that they had only submitted it to Companies House, not to HMRC.

At the end of July, they finally submitted the first year's tax return, but not the required returns for both years. When I contacted HMRC again to confirm, they informed me that the second year’s return was still missing, even though Lockhart Amin insisted they had submitted everything. In reality, it seems that they had only submitted the return to Companies House.

Now, in August, I’ve received a further penalty notice from HMRC .
To make matters worse, the main contact person is now on annual leave. Every time I call, the staff promises that someone will return my call, but no one ever does. I am beyond tired of this ordeal.

If anyone still chooses their service after reading my experience, all I can say is "Bless you and good luck."

Absolutely avoid
First of all doesn’t care or respect client
Second of all they have excuses of everything

Still getting invoices from them where as it’s been over a year after stoped using their services and removed them as my accountant

I highly suggest to avoid this company the most unprofessional accounting company I came across.
