We used Macnairs & Wilson to buy our house, having had a recommendation from a friend who'd used them. I have heard from lots of people who've been moving about the stresses that have been caused things being done at the last minute, and I am happy to say that I will have no such stories to report, as Macnairs & Wilson were across everything, proactive, and very good at communicating to us what was going on. Consequently, there was no stress at all from our side, and everything went smoothly. Amy really knew her stuff, and was able to quickly resolve any potential issues, and Erin was great at keeping everything moving and making sure that all the i's were dotted and t's crossed. I will use them again in the future and would definitely recommend them to others.

I had the misfortune to instruct the the firm for a child contact case. The firm acted outwith my instruction and agreed things without my permission. I have took my case to the Law Society and won compensation, which is never easy but it shows that this firm is worse than incompetent. Without going into the details, in my opinion they acted in a way not befitting of any solicitor. Whats more is they are rude, dismissive and simply don't communicate at all. I have yet to receive an apology however they did send me the compensation, as they had to. I would seriously avoid using this firm. It was a nightmare from start to finish.
