Cannot recommend Rob enough. After receiving a U grade in the maths numeracy mock exam we found Rob’s revision classes during the half term and then booked in for 1 to 1 lessons also. In a few weeks my son achieved a B grade in the numeracy exam sitting the intermediate paper. My son enjoyed the lessons with Rob and they got on really well. We continued with the lessons for the Maths exam in year 11 where he also got a B grade. The teachers noticed a huge improvement in my son’s ability and understanding in a short space of time. I wish we found Rob earlier and would recommend him highly - thanks Rob!

Rob tutored my daughter successfully through her GCSE’s and now tutors my son. Rob is reliable, supportive and approachable with a relaxed teaching style… no stressing!

I had heard about Rob holding a grouped revision session during the summer holidays last year for the maths exams in September, I decided to go to the sessions with a friend to see what it was like, and I really enjoyed the way he taught the topics. As I then currently had a tutor who did not teach as well as Rob did, I decided to have him (Rob) as my maths tutor instead of my current one. Every week he came to my house and gave me the confidence to be able to work out the harder maths equations - that I would not have been able to do prior to having Rob as my tutor. I had my results two days ago and I got B in both exams on Higher Tier. He even messaged on the day of the exams to see how well I did! Thank you Rob for helping me get the grades I wanted. 👍

Rob helped both my sons during GCSEs, they both enjoyed Maths but hated revisiting, Rob gave them the push to put the time in out of school… he was great, supportive, kind, patient, friendly & reliable, he ensured they we’re reaching their potential. Rob was recommended to me as a tutor who could support learners with Dyslexia, and how lucky we were to find him. 100% recommended. !!

We cannot recommend Rob highly enough after he tutored both of our daughters (2 year age gap) for their Maths GCSEs. Both were initially reticent to have a tutor but, after the first lessons they looked forward to the next session; this was not a surprise given his easy going, relaxed, humorous & genial nature. Our girls hated Maths, but with Rob's help they passed and we were lucky to have come across such a gifted teacher who instilled confidence into the girls, in addition to knowledge of the subject and exam technique.

1 year ago we were concerned for our sons maths level for GCSE as he was in the foundation tier and was only predicted an a E. We contacted Rob as others had said how good he was and set up the initial tutoring session with our son and the rest is history. He managed to get him a D in his mocks which allowed him to be put in for the intermediate tier which would get him the C grade he most wanted. The results came out today (22/8/24) and he got the C grade he wanted! This couldn’t have been possible without Robs help. His professionalism, punctuality and actually taking an interest in our son during the past year not just with maths but with his interests as well. He is such a nice guy and adapts his teaching methods around your child’s learning abilities. He provides copious amounts of past papers along with additional tuition throughout the school holidays if you require. Thank you Rob, we’ll certainly never forget what you did for our son and I’m sure he won’t either.

Rob worked wonders with my son who was in year 11. My son was very unenthusiastic about maths and school in general and we worried that he wouldn’t achieve his potential. He was predicted a D (if lucky) in his maths GCSE. I asked Rob to tutor him and honestly, the impact was immediate. Rob’s informal but assured style helped to engage my son and improved his overall attitude to school. My son went on to get a high C in maths which is a credit to Rob’s math tuition - his ability to create a relaxed learning atmosphere is a game changer for any learner!
